Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The only thing that prevents us awarding the Joli Park 5 was the size of the bathroom and the small shower cubicle. Fortunately we are not plus size people. Our room on the 5th floor had a sea and harbour view. We were the only British people in the hotel, which receive a very few non Italians , in a resort which has yet to be discovered by the British in any numbers . Rather than this being a negative we found it a positive as the staff went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We took the half board package, breakfasts , very good, particularly the pastries. Dinner, Google translate needed, a choice of soup or pasta, and a meat of fish main course. Deserts fruits, ice cream etc. Gallipoli Island itself is a gem, with its historical importance, narrow streets, churches, old palaces etc. The sun sets can be spectacular, with the popular bars serving nibbles with your cocktail,. We would certainly like to return to Puglia.

Situated in the middle of the new town, this hotel isn't a work of beauty, but is functional. Room size is ok, aircon and wifi work well.
Reception staff are very obliging and pleasant.
Room smelt of cigarette smoke but we soon got used to it.

Stayed at Joli Park Hotel for 3 nights. Room was made available to us when we arrived (approximately 1pm) which was a good start. View from the balcony was of Gallipoli shops and at night had a good atmosphere. Room was clean and air conditioned. Went down for breakfast on my second morning but I didn't eat anything due to my bread roll/pastry being covered in ants. Not very pleasant so I avoided breakfast the other mornings. A very nice hotel in a great location and I enjoyed my stay overall.

Stayed for a week Hotel is on a cross way busy roads but not too noisy, service 5star for all staff they are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble rooms were ok bathroom ok shower a little small hotel is in a great location only 10 / 15 minutes walk to old town where there are plenty of bars restaurants and Galliopi beach. Hotel can arrange numerous tours for you. Hotel is very clean food is very nice We loved our stay and would recommend this hotel.

I arrived at this hotel looking forward to a nice relaxing visit to Gallipoli. Upon arrival, the outside of the hotel looked ok. That all changed when I seen the tiny sing bedroom I had been allocated. I could hear the room next door blaring music. The walls were paper thin. You could hear every word from the room next door. There were two of us staying in two seperate single rooms. We advised the hotel that we weren't happy with the quality of the accomodation and that we would be leaving the next day. We asked could they refund one night and they refused stating we had booked the lowest rate. Unfortunately, the product on offer is of such low quality, we were just glad to be leaving. We found a lovely hotel not so far away that was miles better. Never accept bad quality hotels.

I booked two nights at this hotel and unfortunately I regret my choice. The hotel is nicely located in the town center but that is the only positive thing that I can tell about it. The room was noisy. The fact that I had to use the ear plugs to get to sleep says it all. I must say that the personnel at the desk was kind and helpful but after one night we decided to move away and found a different accommodation though we had already been charged for both nights.

Arrived after a long and hot bike trip for 6+ hours. Hotel was located in the middle of a cross-roads and therefore noisy even on 5.th floor. AC was not turned on (usual excuse, not hot enough.. Well 28-30 degrees for a week is hot enough for me). Due to traffic noise it was not possible to keep the door open so sleep was really poor. It it is not echonomially viable to keep the AC on with 30 deg. C they should seriously consider closing until high-season. Breakfast was not impressive and breakfast room looked like a 60s sanatorium.

We chose this hotel because we needed a park. Even though we turned up about 1 min after check in opens we were told parking is subject to availability. It is quite limited for the size of the hotel but advertised as a key amenity. We ended up getting a spot after some shuffling around. Location is quite a way out of the old town 1 - 2 kms but ok if you don't mind a walk. The hotel itself feels like a converted hospital and the breakfast room a canteen in an old peoples home.

The people who work here are very professional and friendly. I recommend the hotel because service really counts. The people working at the front desk printed my boarding pass for me for an easy jet flight. It was very helpful! This would not happen anywhere.

I stayed at the Joli Park for business, and was really pleased with the service and general standard. The gentle burble of a water feature welcomed me in the lobby, and the English-speaking reception staff proved extremely helpful and hospitable. My room (with free wireless) was bright, airy, and clean, and had a big balcony. The bathroom was definitely on the small side, which might be an issue for some, but still had plenty of shelf space for all my toiletries. The hotel is located on a main road, hence not silent, but the windows are effective in keeping the noise out. Overall, I would happily recommend the Joli Park as a base to explore Gallipoli.
