We stayed at the resort the first week of July. Agnese, Cristina and Daniele were wonderful. They were always smiling, cheerful and ready to help with any request. I asked lots of questions, but they were patient and always willing to answer any questions and to make any bookings we needed. I can not say the same for the surly food and beverage manager. He seemed very unhappy and sometimes put out -- it may have been because he was shorthanded and was required to wait on guests during lunch. Everyone seemed afraid to order because he was scowling all the time. That was the first and last time we ate at the hotel besides breakfast. It was a pity, since the food was good and was reasonably priced. Most guests we spoke to had the same opinion about this manager.
The are other problems with the hotel - it is used quite often for weddings and parties, and when this occurs the pool and parking area are taken over by the partygoers-- loud music, pool is closed and there is no restaurant service. The hotel guests are not warned when they check-in that this may happen frequently during their stay. All that happens is that a small sign may be posted at the front desk the day of the party. This happened 3 times in one week, and only one notice was given for one of the events.
There was also an odor in the lobby suggesting they had a problem with the sewage system. This was not resolved during our stay. If they get these problems worked out, it could be a very nice resort that is reasonably priced.

The resort looks like a 5-star residence. The garden is perfect!! There is a playground en the kids have al the space they want. The pool is also very nice. The most of the time we were alone at the pool wich is very nice for the kids. They can do whatever they want.
Breakfast is terrible. You can eat until 10 o’clock but at 9:30 there is no more prosciutto, the croissant basket is empty and the orange juice too. The servants are not friendly and very slow. Nobody speaks english, french or german. Italian is the only language they know. At 10:10 they ask you to leave.
You can order drinks and sanwiches at the pool but you have to go look for somebody to order. The pool bar stays empty.
You can have diner in the hotel. The food is good. But the servants haven’t got a clue what they are doing. You get your meat and 15 minutes later tour french fries. 5 of 6 people get their order and the 6th person has to wait 20 minutes...
Gallipoli is nice to visit one time. The beaches are clean and Zeus Beach is perfect for families with kids. You have less tourism than for example in Spain. There are no shops in the surroundings of the hotel.
If you like a quiet hotel, a visit to the beach and a onetime visit to a small town you can choose Gallipoli Resort, but you have to put up with the lazy Italian way of life.

I don't normally eat in hotel restaurants but had lunch on the Open air patio. One of the nicest pork steaks I have had. Good fresh salad with excellent local tomatoes Good coffee. Nice lunch in a pleasant atmosphere with reasonably brisk service

We really enjoyed our one night here. The room nice and big and very comfortable. For us the only down side was location - we did not have a car. This meant taxi. Upon arrival a local made a phone call for us to get a taxi. We were told €10 would do it - "Mario" charged us €20 not happy !!! We spoke to reception and for the rest of the taxi trips we used Carlo and he was BRILLIANT . He picked us up when we called him and was very friendly and helpful and only charged us the €10 each trip. The reception staff were very very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel but a car would be the go. The evening meal was good. We don't speak Italian so a great effort was made on their part to help with the language barrier. The breakfast was the best we had in our trip to puglia.

Lovely hotel in it's own grounds. The rooms were nice and well air conditioned which they needed to be. There is a separate restaurant block with A la Carte and Pizzeria restaurants, including a large open air patio area. We ate in the pizzeria and it was ok. I never know why they have to play such awful music and so loud in places like this? What's wrong with a bit of quiet. The advantage of the separate block is the rooms are very peaceful. The only negative for me was breakfast which was very mediocre.

Far from everything, luckely we had transportation, from the announced navette no trace. The room was big but in three days never cleaned with water. Very good restaurant, excellent food but gloomy waiter. As from the desk no Englisch speakers found. Breakfast could be a lot better, sometimes even no bread. Free wifi but difficult to find a connector for the battery in the room.

We stayed here during half term as a last minute holiday. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with good facilities. The rooms were clean and tidy and we can not fault the service and help we received from all the hotel staff. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful complex set around a luxury outdoor pool in beautiful gardens. Friendly staff at the front desk and nice comfortable rooms. Since the restaurant is used quite often for weddings and parties, you may find the pool and parking area taken over by function attendees. Good place to stay if you're travelling with friends - Probably not the best solution for families with infants.

I stayed a week, room with all the services required. At the restaurant I found everything I wanted, fresh fish and with a wide choice, delicious first courses. In the morning the breakfast is excellent, sweet, salty at will. Swimming pool always clean, with umbrellas and deck chairs for all guests. A service that I liked, and the bathing establishment included in the price of the stay, plus there is the shuttle to and from. Next year I will return, a location of 10 and honors.
