Detailed Reviews
This is a modern hotel on 4 floors, with restaurant. Rooms are not provided with kettles. Glasses in the rooms were plastic. Rooms are simple, clean and colourful. Some interesting artefacts used as decoration. The breakfast room on the top floor has lovely views over the town to the archeologically site beyond

The experience was a little public sector, or youth hostelly, slow and unresponsive staff, tired looking terraces, rubbish inc a sofa outside the gate to the street below the hotel. Breakfast was very basic, no visible staff, loads of reserved tables and none for us, had to track down someone to get us set up. Not much of a bar. Def not a 4 star.

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind review. Normally our staff is highly appreciated by our guests, as is the restaurant service and the breakfast. We are sorry if there has been a misunderstanding with your table, but we hope to have the best resolution. We hope in a future occasion to show you that the 4 stars are deserved. Best regards The Hotel Manegement

The hotel is quite nice.
Our room just average size.
The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The room was clean as well as bathroom.
The breakfast was not good.
All sweet cakes.
Small toaster, they don't refill the deli counter, no eggs/bacon.

The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. The town is near the ruins on the coast and there were lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Free parking available and only a ten minute walk to the beach. Our room had a balcony with partial sea views

Breakfast is poor food. Worst coffee since arriving a week ago to Sicily. Cold coffee. Toaster doesn't work. Decor is tired and poor quality.
Small girl on reception is sad and slow. Tall girl was very good.
Hotel needs refurbishment. This is Not 4 star. Location is the only redeeming feature as great views to sea.

Very personal hotel with wonderful staff - helped us with our wedding in Castelvetrano 2012 and now we stayed for a nice dinner to celebrate our 12 years.
Many thanks for a wonderful evening!

My wife and I stayed for one week in June having taken a cheap package from UK. The hotel was impressive and I am surprised by an earlier review suggesting the reception staff do not understand English as we found ALL the reception staff very helpful with a good command of English.
The room was lovely and had a great sea view from the balcony which was prefect for catching the last hour of sun between 6.00pm and 7.00pm. The bathroom was good with a great shower. In early June you can sleep with the window wide open and have a perfect temperature but the Air Conditioning seemed effective if required.
Breakfast on the roof was idyllic. Sicilians seem to regard breakfast as 250 different ways to get sugar inside you! Breakfast was buffet style. We couldnt get enough of the blood orange fruit juice each morning and tea and coffee of every variety were dispensed from a machine. There was ample fruit with a selction from apricots, peaches and water melon. There was also a choice of bread and rolls with cheeses, salami and fresh tomatoes. The choice of pastries was tempting and there was lots of everything.
Evening meal had a great buffet for hors d'oeuvres each evening and then a pasta course and choice of three main courses. We tended to miss the pasta course as it was just too much food. There were three choices each evening for main course and two of those were usually fish. We love fish and were thus happy but for those who dont the choice may appear limited.
The situation of the hotel is in one way terrific and in another limiting. It is terrific in having the fantastic views of the Greek ruins for which Selinunte is famous. It is also within an easy walk of a really nice beach where hotel Admeto guests are given complimentary use of the sunloungers (ask for a ticket at Reception each day). However we found that others on a week's package who had not hired a car found Selinunte limiting after a few days. Since airport tranfers are not cheap it can be very worthwhile to hire a car at the airport and save on the transfers thus reducing the hire price by a huge amount. You then have the option of easy day trips to Erice, Sciacca etc. The hotel garage is under the hotel so each morning you have a lovely cool car ready for you.
This was a really good break. The hotel is not lively, there is no pool and night life is close to zero but if you want a switch off with great sight seeing opportunities and a pleasant beach at a good price with friendly people it may well fit the bill.

This is an excellent four-star-hotel. The price is good, the view over the ocaen is incredible, the staff is friendly, the rooms are good, the location is ok, close to the beach, but not to many restaurants nearby. Breakfast is very good. Strongly recommded.

I read all the reviews and was extremely apprehensive however, as it turned out for no good reason. If you want throbbing nightlife - micheline star food and silver service then no this hotel and the location is not for you. If you want immaculately clean rooms, wonderful, helpful attentive staff, and a view to die for in quite beautiful surroundings then this is definately for you.
The hotel is a 3 minute walk (quite steep coming back up the stairs) to a beautiful little village with everything you could wish for (unless of course you wish for british bars, nightclubs and casinos). The food is more than adequate (I would have been happy just with the selection of Antipasta there was on offer) a choice then of 3 pasta dishes then a choice of 2 fish one meat dish. More than enough to satisfy although if you were really that fussy there were ample restaurants around at reasonable prices. Drinks late at night on their lovely terrrace overlooking the sea was wonderful - why would you want to sit in a bar!
there were several weddings, christening functions on whilst we stayed but never were we made to feel pushed out and our needs were catered for in the hotels usual efficient manner.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff - my italian is zero - however, everything we asked for - we got and more. I cannot praise this hotel enough I had a wonderful holiday and they helped to make it so.

Friendly staff, nice spacious rooms with view of sea and each room has a balcony. The breakfasts were buffet and very plentiful and good. Free parking is under the hotel in the garage. The location is very good as it is close to the ruins of Selinunte. We had dinner here and it was just so so and not good value. Better to eat at a trattoria or ristaurante locally. High speed wireless internet is free, but not all rooms get reception, so you may have to go to the lobby.

No there is not, it’s a very small town with one supermarket, there are some shops at castlveltrano but they are functional, the best malls we saw were over the other side near Catania and there was a great one on the Palermo-Catania highway.
Hi, I've always parked on the street outside the hotel and that's never been a problem. As far as I know they have no private parking.
