This is a rather simple hotel with basic rooms, though well equipped. Good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service. Right in front of the sea and a short ride from the superb archeological site. Recommended and I’d go back if I would return to Sicily

We stayed in this hotel for one night, they welcomed us with the utmost attention, we felt pampered. We slept lulled by the sound of the sea, which is located just a stone's throw from the property! In the morning they offered us breakfast in a room from which you could see the sea.
A thousand thanks!

Postcard location a stone's throw from the sea, hotel of unique beauty. Excellent cleaning. Very kind staff, led by Alessandro who really knows how to welcome.
The cuisine is absolutely worth trying, it is sublime and refined.
Great find.

I start from the assumption that I called advising that my 2 year old son would sleep in the big bed with us, just to avoid the 2 beds pushed together. The first thing we notice as soon as we enter are the 2 sunbeds joined together as a double bed, we decide to sleep on them. A nightmare, uncomfortable bed, low and hard, every slightest movement was a continuous noise. We went there to complain to the owner, refusing to sleep like this for a week, he assured us that he would solve the problem by changing our bed. Well, that wasn't the case. A lot of people arrived and left during the week but we were not taken into consideration. It's a shame, because the restaurant from the waiters to the chef were WONDERFUL. Of a unique sweetness, helpful and friendly. There the chef delighted us with his cuisine, which even a simple first course with sauce was a delight. The housekeepers are very good, very clean, the only positive thing I find in the hotel.

Terrible customer service, I called to book and they told me a price, and asked me to send an email to confirm. Once the email was sent they communicated a 30% higher price saying that prices are changeable... Bad behavior towards the customer! If you are not able to keep faith with an estimate made by telephone, you should not communicate estimates in this way!!!!!! And if you do, you should keep your word to the customer!!

We stayed in the quiet Selinunte at the La Rosa for 10 days.
Everything perfect starting from the strategic position in front of the sea and the only bathing establishment in the place managed by Ciccio (a very nice Sicilian character); a stone's throw away is the wonderful archaeological park that cannot be missed. Very kind and professional staff, particular mention to the very nice maitre Leonardo, Gabriele and Cinzia! Well maintained hotel with a very spacious and always clean sea view room.
Varied breakfast with delicious cakes, croissants, juices, savory and much more; P.s. Automatic but surprisingly good coffee shop; finally the top cuisine thanks to the excellent cook Mariapia who made us taste always different and succulent seafood dishes (starter, first course, second course and dessert)... in short, highly recommended.

The strong points of this hotel are the location in front of the beach and the competitive prices. The rooms are large and clean, a little bare but with two large support surfaces; ours also had a small terrace overlooking the sea. The little blackout curtain on the window and the slightly low and hard pillows make the sleep quality improvable, even if the area is quiet.
The breakfast is decent, the choice not huge, perhaps also because we were in the low season. The various cream dispensers to fill the brioche as desired (the pistachio one is excellent) are interesting. Kind service.

The hotel is average: good location facing the beach, clean and very friendly staff, but the rooms with partial sea view are a real hoax since you pay more.... yes you can see the sea from the side but you can't keep the windows open otherwise the guests in the room opposite see everything you do....zero privacy.....average breakfast and so-so restaurant

Hotel for the price which is cheap and horrible... bathrooms with very small shower, very small balcony, and let's not talk about the bed which is very uncomfortable and full of noises, telephones which absolutely don't work, the only saving grace is the kitchen and the waiters who are exceptional... anyway horrible holiday
