We had booked the suite but arrived ti find that they were expecting us on a different date (despite a clear online booking fir the dat that we arrived. We were given a dungeon room instead of the suite, a large dungeon and a comfortable bed but almost no direct light and dirty mop marks still visible on the floor....

The place is very well situated. You will almost always find free parking on the street. Staff was nice , breakfast - ok. The only complain is that I requested a baby crib, and when we arrived we were told that we didn't requested it so no baby crib. Staff speaks almost no English.

A very friendly welcome greeted us on arrival and this friendliness continued during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom large, but the shower cubicle was the smallest I've ever been in which unfortunately made showering a challenge. Although there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very nice and served in a lovely room. It...

It was a wonderful experience to stay in the renovated 18th century mansion. The grandure, the painted ceilings and antique furniture gave us the feeling of what it might be like to live there in times past. The room was large and clean. A large variety was presented for breakfast. Situated below the heart of the old town it provide...

The place is centrally located, in Modica's main street, but not exactly in the middle where it is more chaotic and harder to park. We found parking on each of the (weekend) days of our visit, close to the accommodation. The building itself is a historic palace, with many of the rooms having frescoed ceilings. It was convenient for our...

We had a gorgeous room complete with frescoed ceiling and Sicilian antique furnishings. Combined with all modern facilities and such helpful and charming owners (the palazzo has belonged to the same family for decades) this made for a delightful experience.Everything spotlessly clean and excellent central location.

The room overlooking the stree was way large and so was the bathroom. If you have trouble with your legs this is not a good place because staicases are inevitable. The hostess is very kind and sees that you are comfortable and at ease. Good breakfast.

It is a charming place in the centre near to many tourist attraction. Rooms are good and clean and the breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated old room. Breakfast can be improved a bit and some areawould need a renovation

Beautifully and sensitively renovated old family home. Excellent location, excellent breakfast. Very accommodating owner. Ask about the home and family history. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Tiny shower, so common in renovated old buildings, but no excuse here because the bathroom was certainly large enough for a real shower. But overall a great stay.

Loved our stay here. There is one room 5 facing the street with balcony. It is quite spectacular with high painted dome ceiling although the bed in shall we say "antique". All the other room seem to be tucked away in the building as other reviewers have noted. There is a restaurant right down the street that one of the...
