Last summer, in June, my wife, our daugher and I stayed for a few days at Hotel Alpenrose. We had a lovely stay and great memories. The location is just outside of Trento and the surroundings are beautiful. We were on our way home from our great italian tour, or grand tour, and this was a perfect place to stop and have a rest for a few days and relax. A tip if you have a daughter is to drive a couple of miles/kilometers up the hill and take a horsebackriding lesson.

Beautiful family hotel, very nice owners and staff. Room was just renewed and beautiful, in typical Alps style, with a huge and elegant bathroom with shower. Great buffet breakfast and very good dinner with buffet salad, two first courses, meat and dessert. Free entrance to the beautiful spa with swimming pool. We had the opportunity to visit museums and castles for free because of the Trentino card that was given us at the hotel.

We just spent a long weekend here. Had a great time. All of the reviews that you read on here that remark about what a great family oriented place this hotel is - are absolutely true. The family that runs this hotel could not be any kinder, friendlier and fun to talk to. Even the housekeeping staff goes out of their way to be polite and accommodating. It’s in a very nice location where you can walk around. Less than a 30 minute drive to Trento. The hotel‘s restaurant is outstanding and they provide a nice breakfast. There is free Wi-Fi, but only provided in the lobby. Just in case you were traveling on business. I would definitely enjoy the opportunity to stay here again in the future. Very nice hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights in July 2017 following a week staying in Lake Garda. We are a Family of 4. We had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is fully family run and everyone was so friendly, we felt like we were staying with family. The food was amazing. We were on full board basis and I have never tried such a selection of dishes. There was no choice on the menu but as each menu was 5 courses there was always plenty to enjoy, also he owners would come round with second and third helpings too if you cleared your plate ha ha. My children who are somewhat fussy eaters all enjoyed the cuisine. The hotel was very traditional alpine style and totally suited the gorgeous surroundings. I'd love to return in winter when it is snowy. The spa is fantastic. We didn't take advantage of the treatments but we went to the spa twice and used the indoor pool and spa jets and jacuzzi. It was fabulous and included in the price of our stay. The kids also went into the outdoor pool and it was lovely and clean and the hotel supplied floats and balls etc. We didn't know any Italian but the owners and guests helped us out greatly and appreciated the couple of words we did return to them. Wednesday night was party night and all the guests and owners mingled and got to know each other. The owners laid on supper if pizza and snacks. I also loved the cocktails and they make a mean Aperol Spritz! I was so sad to leave the Alpenrose and definitely recommend for families, couples, walkers or anyone who would appreciate the fabulous scenery and wonderful family run hotel. Vattar is a quiet village but is only about half hour drive from Trento which has a great selection of shops and bars. We also visited the science centre in Trento which was a lovely day out.

The hotel is nice and the food is good. There is a good variety of different and local foods and the quantity is good no complains. The staff is very friendly with a lot of effort to give you the best possible service. Cherry on the cake is the wellness center. A warm swimming pool with Jacuzzy, 2 saunas, 1 Infrared sauna and 1 steam bath. Relax areas and showers plus the regenerating one shot Swedish shower. Kids can get into the pool in the morning when the saune it is closed.
