My Under the Tuscan Sun dream come true! What an amazing view on a quiet hillside. Our two level apartment was perfect from the fully stocked kitchen to the two bathrooms and room for five adults. The patio was fantastic for dining al fresco and watching the vibrant sunsets. It was nice having laundry facilities there and the infinity pool...

In May 2015 we stayed at Vecchio Fienile with our family for one week. As the house has five separate appartments, it was ideal for our group since we were with five families and had the location on our own. First of all we were welcomed very friendly by Maurizio and his family. They had done everything tot prepare everything...

This was our second year at Vecchio Fienile, and we've booked for two weeks next year. The Villa is set in a quiet Tuscan hillside but still near a well equipped local town. We have two big dogs which have always been welcomed, and they even helped us with the local vet this year as we don't speak Italian. This...

We enjoyed a two week holiday in July with friends (8 of us in total) at Vecchio Fienile staying in La Balla and Fieno. Both were well supplied and comfortable. The overall atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. Maurizio, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, arranging activities and pointing us in the direction of a great...

The owners couldn't be more welcoming and hospitable giving great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area. It is located in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan landscape with lots of wonderful historic towns and cities...

I have been holidaying in Tuscany for a number of years and have been lucky enough to stay in some brilliant apartments/villas. But I have to say Vecchio Fienile is up there with the best of them. Firstly the location is excellent. 1.30 hrs from Pisa airport but more importantly approx 30 mins from both Siena and Florence. San Gimignano...
