Undoubtedly a beautiful main building, set along a quiet road and with a view of Massa Marittima and olive groves. However the food is average, even poor by normal agroturismo standards. It is inconceivable that they would serve processed mozzarella (this is not coming from a cheese snob - but really it was straight out of a Kraft package) -...

We were 4 ladies on a cycling holiday, this accommodation had been booked for us by our tour company. We had requested two twin bed rooms & were told this had been confirmed, it was clearly stated on our documents. So on arrival we were allocated two double rooms, we stated this was not acceptable so were offered the solution...

When we got there we were told our booking had been allocated to another agriturismo half a mile away. I saw the booking sheet where our name had been crossed out and four...

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, clean, and well-appointed 200 year old farmhouse. Out family of four enjoyed our spacious apartment with kitchenette, dining table, sofa bed for the kids, and separate bedroom for us. The pool is gorgeous, with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside. Anna Maria speaks lovely English, and the included breakfasts and dinners (20 euros/person)...

A perfect stay, if you aim for romance, culture (in the middle of Tuscany), great food & wine and finally some quiet relaxation. Lovely and helpful staff. 2km to beautiful medieval little city of Massa Marittima, 15km to beach in Folonica (well... i ve seen better ones), 65km to Siena which is a "must see" jewel of Tuscany.

“Booking .com were very helpful and refunded us the difference between the two hotels. However when you spend hours looking for a suitable room/hotel you don't want to be re-allocated to a different hotel (that you haven't been able to research) on arrival.”

“At the height of summer, our second floor, west facing room was hot at night (there is no AC here), although the view was beautiful.. If you have a choice, you might ask for a north facing room.”
