We come here for the 3rd year in a row. Here friendly helpful people. Very nice breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. You can also buy wine here or have it delivered to your home. Super nice large pool with shallow end for the children. In the afternoon they bring watermelon around the pool. Jacuzzi and very nice garden with olive trees. 2 different playgrounds. Keep u the good work Maurizio and staff!
I've stayed here about five times now, with my boyfriend and sometimes with my family. Every time I come to Italy I make it a point to spend a night here. Maurizio and his staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, from the moment you arrive until you leave. First and most importantly, the value for your money here is unreal. Every room has a scenic view, as well as a table area just outside the door where you can enjoy it. The rooms are charming and rustic, extremely clean, spacious and comfortable--you'll get great rest. And many rooms can accommodate multiple people, including children, comfortably; there is at least one king size bed and an additional single bed (sometimes two) in each room. The bathrooms are also very spacious and clean. Some other highlights of the property are the pool and hot tub, poolside views, free parking, attentive staff, and the breakfast spread in the mornings. I would urge anyone staying here to have dinner at the restaurant on site, L'ullivo. It is a wonderful experience. Maurizio has been serving the same menu with slight seasonal variations for many years, and it is unbelievable; the fixed price menu includes several small antipasto plates with local meats, cheeses and vegetables, followed by two pasta dishes, a main course of steak, and dessert--not to mention as much wine as you want. All of it is exceptionally fresh and delicious, I cannot recommend it enough. Every course includes Umbria's famous black truffles in some form, and you'll get to try the best olive oil you can find in Italy (from the surrounding area). It's a truly exceptional and authentic dining experience. The location is also a major plus, in that the historical centre of Trevi, as well as the wine region and city of Montefalco, is just a 10-15 minute drive away. You'll want to arrange a wine tasting in Montefalco for sure, of which there are many to choose from. And finally, I must say that I mainly enjoy the extra touches that you get at this beautiful family owned and operated hotel: the espresso you are offered immediately on arrival, the family dog Filipa who is usually sitting outside the front door ready to greet visitors, fresh watermelon brought out by the pool during warmer months, and the fact that guests will always receive a rose handpicked from the garden at checkout. For me it's these small details, in addition to the incredible value and comfort, that make this a remarkable destination spot.…
This hotel is not the height of luxury but it has everything - great, quiet position, decent size room, excellent bathroom and shower, and the friendliest staff imaginable brilliantly led by Maurizio. I was astonished when I got the bill - much less than I had expected. Bravo, in fact bravissimo!
Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The room was nice and warm in the winter, and very quiet. It's located in the hills, among olive trees, with a nice view on the valley. There's a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi for the summer. The hotel has an incredible restaurant which is definitely worth trying.
An amazingly beautiful venue. I spent a weekend here with my friends. The staff are excellent and always friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. And the rooms are extremely comfortable. I definitely plan to visit again.
