What you pay is what you get. Good value for money for a basic 3 star mountain hotel. A littlebit old but confortable and large enough rooms. Free parking, sauna, jacuzzi, varied breakfast, and nice hotel staff. The minuses are the position, far away from the ski piste and the weak wi-fi internet. Overall a good choice for a short... Just the name it binds the Hotel Tirol in Poiana Brasov to Austria. And the cold room perhaps... People turn on the heat only during the night. On Saturday night (27/09/2014) it worked only between 8 and 12 p.m. "If it's warmer in the living room than in the bedroom, sleep in the living room" and "I have nothing to... More

Dear guest, Thank you for the feedback given to Rina Tirol Hotel from Poiana Brasov. Firstly, at the beginning of your expose, you refer to the temperature in the room you have been housed in with your family in the 27th of September, 2014. According to the website www.accurateweather.com, the effective temperature during daytime was 20 degrees Celsius, and during... More

The hotel is what you will recieve for a medium expectation. Nothing wow but also nothing wrong. We arrived on vallentines day and stayed for 2 nights. Location, staff, parking and cleanliness were ok, but we were not the eemanding type anyway. As a general frustration for a couple in most of the 3 stars in romania is how hoteliers understand the... It looks nice and clean. Not very close to the ski area. The beds were confortable and I loved the fact that there was a bathing tub, where I could relax after skiing. The room was very warm. Great breakfast also.

Located in a quite and rather secluded place in Poiana the first thing that appealed to me was the cabin style look of the hotel from the outside. The staff was very helpful and food was good. Coming with a car, the adjacent free parking lot was very helpful. And during the summer time there is a nice outdoor terrace.... More

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel in August 2013. The standard was reasonable for a 3-star 'package deal' hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfasts were also reasonable. It's annoying to have elevators half a floor above or below you, but nothing can be done about that. The issue that really upset us about the... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. They had free WIFI in the lobby and the rooms! It's a decent 3 star hotel. The buffet breakfast was very nice, the buffet dinner offered a variety of Romanian dishes such as Mamaliga (same as Italian Polenta), Mehtati (Kebab), lots of Eggplant salads! The staff were very friendly

I spent an excellent ski holiday in Poiana Brasov and we staid at Rina Tirol Hotel. Good location, nice rooms and excellent staff, very helpful. Great deal regarding the price! The ski area of Poiana Brasov is good, not very crowded when we went. It is a perfect resort for mountaineering also, not to many chalets in the upper part... More
