We had such a nice stay here. Cristina really went above and beyond to make our two nights memorable. The room was comfortable and quirky and a request for two beds was easily accommodated. We liked breakfast as well. Dinner on the terrace was lovely. The food wine pairings were great. The meals were simple but well prepared. There are also some really fantastic restaurants in walking distance, so if you’re looking for a meal experience try one of those - they are also happy to make recommendations to you.
I recently stayed here as part of the hotel's food and wine package and pretty much had my expectations exceeded in every conceivable way. Check in was really easy and the hotel was in touch a few days before hand to send through the itinerary and agree a convenient check in time. Both of the vineyard/winery tours organised were excellent and the evening meals were truly outstanding. Breakfast was fairly simple but adequate. The hotel itself appears to have been fairly recently renovated and the room was lovely and had a great view. I couldn't recommend this hotel and the food and wine package enough!
We booked the wine experience and requested a specific room. We were the only ones staying at the hotel on arrival yet couldn't get the requested room. There is only one room with a terrace which our friend stayed in and that was stunning. On check in we were told which wineries we had appointments at but it was to be self-drive which we thought was odd since we were going to do wine tastings and didn't want to drink and drive. So we nixed that and spent our days hiking. The second disappointment was the food....oh dear, just not inspired at all. Breakfast was ok but I would not recommend dinner.
We stayed 3 days. The location Is great as all the towns are very close, Cristiana gave us some great places to visit and recommended local wine cellars which we would not have chosen , had it not been for her. The hotel food was great, breakfast very good. The room was comfortable and very clean. We will definitely be back
