Thanks for a lovely 3 night break. Friendly hotel, providing spotlessly clean accommodation. Nice breakfast, cooked to order, and served in a very pleasant dining room. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Brian and Lorraine were there for us from the moment we arrived. Saw us settled in and made most welcome. Food was first class and rooms were spotlessly clean. Of course we would go again if opportunity arose.

The hotel is a 1930's style building much modernised , set in a quiet residential area just outside the town. There is space for 6/7 cars at the front off-road parking area ( there is on-road parking space too) and a huge lawned garden at the rear. We had a twin room on the roadside which was extremely quiet and... More

You are assured of a warm welcome at this quiet, comfortable hotel, comprising just nine rooms. Everything was spotless and facilities were good. Although the hotel does not offer evening meals or a room service, a small well-stocked bar can be opened in the evenings. We thought other guests might have used the opportunity to have a drink on the... More

Smart, clean small and personal hotel situated in a quiet residential area some 15 minutes’ walk from the sea-front and another 10 minutes or so to the centre of Budleigh. There is parking at right angles to the road along the front of the building – and although full, at times, there was enough for all the rooms. Our room,... More

Lovely views over the quiet and attractive rear garden and hills in the distance. A most genial host. Room was clean and functional. Nice ensuite. The breakfast was less generous than we're used to in a B&B but that was our only quibble.

My husband and I have just had a lovely three night break staying at the Long Range Hotel. Our room was really lovely and nothing too much trouble. On the day that we were departing it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we were presented at breakfast with an Anniversary card and a glass of Bucks Fizz. We would like... More

The Long Range is a very nice B&B. Very clean with a lovely lounge and conservatory for guests, along with a lovely garden that guests are welcome to use. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Brian was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

We received a warm, friendly welcome and a tray of tea. Brian took the trouble to show us how everything worked in our room and showed us round the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable though the bathroom a little tired. Breakfast was well cooked with generous portions and the service excellent. The hotel has a beautiful garden with... More
