Booked the hotel on Saturday what lovely warm welcome staff and locals alike. The pub is old and quirky with stunning surroundings . The staff and owners go over and beyond to make you stay a 5 star one. Will definatley be going back highly recommend .

We stopped overnight at this friendly Inn. A great and warm bar. Our room was large and clean with a good bathroom. We had a good breakfast which prepared us well for the day ahead. A great little place to stop over on the English and Wales border.
The building is fascinating. Built in 1380 and extended later it has been a pilgrims hostel and then a drovers inn. We had a lovely panelled room in the old part of the building. I especially enjoyed the view of the hillside opposite with its black and white sheep. The bathroom…
