Another lovely welcoming visit, the room was very large and comfy. We have stayed here several times over the years and Mary and Gary always friendly and welcoming. Great breakfasts and they were happy to accommodate my gluten free and vegan requests easily. Easy walk into town for dinner when you have recovered from a days walking in the mountains.

We stayed here for one night. Our room was huge and the bed was really comfortable. Run by really friendly owners. Breakfast was beautifully cooked. We will certainly return. Highly recommended . Thankyou!

The best B&B I have ever visited, booked via email. Fantastic hospitality, they even cut their lunch short when we realized we had left some belongings behind. Lots of activities a short drive away including Snowden, Portmerion and Harlech.

Cannot fault anything here. Everything is first class from the comfy beds, hot showers and spacious rooms to the full Welsh breakfast. The hosts are great and will help with any information about the local area and amenities.

What more can I say except what I've written as the title? Such a gem of a guest house that I would recommend Penaber to anyone and everyone visiting Porthmadog or the area. Wonderful reception from Gary and his wife, nothing was too much trouble, beautiful room and sumptious bed. I shall be back...oh, and do try the zip wire...

Following a rainy but lovely train trip from Porthmadog to Caernarfon, my wife and I spent a very pleasant single night at Penaber. Our host, Mary, was warm and friendly, offering us a refreshing cup of tea on arrival -- just what we needed after a long day's train travelling, much of it in the rain. Our room was very...

Mary & Gary own & operate this bed & breakfast. They are lovely people and terrific hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Gary is a former chef & his breakfasts are excellent. The property itself is a short distance from Porthmadog on the way to Borth-Y-Gest so it is well located. The property though seems isolated & quiet....
