Lovely extended family living round a courtyard. Building work going on at moment to extend to 4 rooms to rent out, should be completed in June 2017 but can still stay there.Builders only there in mornings and we were out. Fantastic food, fantastic cocktails, best mojitos in Cuba. Chi Chi very funny even though she can't speak English we managed...

Even though we weren't staying at Dona Hilda's, we booked a dance lesson with Dona Hilda's granddaughter, Ana Flavia, for a group of 4 ladies. We had so much fun! She is a great teacher and was so patient with us. She and her parents have a band that travels internationally playing Cuban music, so it is in her blood....

Good, comfortable rooms (I was in a triple share for 2 nights and all went well). The owners (Chi Chi and family) are wonderful and so hospitable - nothing was too much effort, even scrubbing our filthy muddy walking shoes after trekking through plantations! Great food and fabulous mohitos! I loved sitting on the porch in a rocking chair reviewing...

Such a cute little Casa in a great location in Vinales. Walking distance from the bus station and Chi Chi organised bikes for us to ride around the Valley on. The food here is absolutely sensational, make sure you are starving for dinner (maybe skip lunch) as the serving sizes are massive! The ladies here take so much pride in...

First of all: this place is not a secret anymore as it is listed in the lonely planet but we have to say it is a lp tip for many good reasons. The rooms are the typical cuban high standard - clean, private bathroom, air condition, towels. You have your own porch with two rocking chairs and your own dinner...

Hostel Dona Hilda was perfect for our stay in Vinales. Lovely friendly family who made us feel very welcome. Located just on the edge of town, it was lovely and quiet - perfect for a mojito on the terrace. We stayed for 4 nights and ate there for 3 of them. The lobster dinner and giant prawns were fantastic! Thanks...

Our family spent 3 wonderful days at Hostal Dona Hilda. Our host was welcoming, helped us organize activities, cooked great meals and made the best mojitos. The 3 rooms were very clean and comfortable. I can highly recommend Hostal Dona Hilda.

Chichi offers 3 independent rooms with its full bathrooms. All have AC units as you can see on the pictures, great service and authentic Cuban food. The rooms are very clean and you have space for 2 cars if you happen to rent one of those. Cayo Jutia is less than an hour away and Vinales has a lot to...

One of our favourite casas in Cuba! A wonderful, warm host, great food, evenings spent mojitos in hand in the rocking chair, lots of good advice and a permanent smile on our face. Worth going on a horse ride through the tobacco fields and hanging out by the pool at Los Jazmines.

We felt very much at home at maribell and chichis casa, and we liked the casual feel of staying there. This is also a good place to practice your spanish. We ate the best food in cuba here, with way too large portions (Recommend the fish!) The backyard was lovely, and we spent a whole day in the hammocks watching...

“Don't take the first one cause it has the smallest porch.”

“There were 4 of us (2 grown up children) and the room was adapted so we could stay, with 4 beds. Not too squashed and certainly a very economical stay. Like many rural casas, lots of dogs and cockerels, and on the road into town, so remember ear-plugs if you are a light sleeper.”
