This property is under new management and the new manager is working diligently to bring the service up to par. We had a group of 13 and the rooms were clean and had new AC units. We had dinner in a special building up the hill that had a spectacular view of the city. Musicians were wonderful too. You must...

Rooms are not very clean and have non-functional bathrooms. The doorframe between the room and bathroom was so rotten you could see light all around it. The aircon didn't work and we were kept awake by cockroaches. Breakfast was OK, but the pool was very good.

If you are considering staying here, read the reviews - I think they give the picture. Nice pool, lovely location, very tired rooms, in need of a good clean and paint. Lots of steps to some cabins. Breakfast was not good - less variety than elsewhere and no fresh coffee.

This is a cabin hotel with a large swimming pool and separate buildings for reception and restaurant. The cabins are quite small with two separate beds, but comfortable and reasonably clean. They are situated in a park like setting around the pool so quite noisy during daytime but quiet at night. Because of all the trees around the cabins, there...

Very basic hotel, consisting of comparatively cheap cabanas. It has a huge pool, so on weekends (especially) local families buy day-passes for the pool and camp out around it. They have another pool, billiard, at the beach bar, a rarity for Cuba! CUC 3 per hour. Unfortunately, everything closes early, at 10 pm there. Most patrons are from Latin America,...

After reading reviews, we decided to celebrate a special occasion here. Big mistake. It was dreadful. Miserable reception and bar staff. Stid prices at the bar and dreadful food in the restaurant. Basic room with dreadful pillows.. The water ran out when I had a full head of shampoo so I called reception who eventually answered and said in a...

Rooms are ok, bathroom is not ok (low water pressure for a good shower, no toilet seat), swimming pool with view is great, bar next to swimming pool is ok, buffet restaurant is not that good, for breakfast it is okay. Just go here for the luxury of the swimming pool after a long hike (uphill for the 'mirador': great...

We stayed in Villa 4, the room was dark, smells and damp. No toilet seat. Water in the shower was dripping - no pressure at all and impossible to shower. Backyard and swimming pool were dirty as. All we had in our mind was counting the hours to leave this hotel. We are not even going to talk about breakfast....

Stayed here as part of a tour and was highly dissapointed. The pool was brown, the bartenders were rude and obnoxious, the rooms were falling apart (bathroom light broken etc.) luckily there was a pool table so we had something to pass the time.. Restaurant was cramped and food was substandard.

We stayed here for two night over Easter which did make it fairly lively with lots of local families having great fun in the very large pool. Our room was basic but fine and with fabulous views across the valley and some marvellous mature tress dripping with bromeliads. It was a little noisy on Easter Sunday but hardly surprising given...
