The secluded, palm-tree-lined beach? The pink manor house, built by a banana plantation owner? The turquoise bay framed by headlands plunging straight into the Caribbean water? The low shush of the waves hitting the sand? The white triangle of sailboat gliding in the distance? La Sagesse feels as if it’s been lifted out of a Somerset Maugham story set in...

This place was a little tricky to find but worth the wait and effort. Amazing beach if you love space and exclusiveness. Very clean, lovely little hotel with really friendly staff with very potent rum punch and the best fish cakes on the island. Recommend a trip down there for the day if you are visiting Grenada.

If you want to stay somewhere off the beaten path, this place is for you. The beach is lovely, the staff and owners are friendly, and the accommodations are tidy. You can walk ~10 minutes to the end of the dirt road and catch a bus (van) into town if you start to need a little more stimulation or want...

This place is situated on one of the best beaches we've ever been to and it is the only real place (apart from some holiday homes on a nearby ridge) on this wonderful tranquil cove. There are only 12 rooms and hence the beach won't be crowded by hotel guests. We have been a La Sagesse during the off season...

We had dinner here after a long journey from the UK. Staff were friendly and very accommodating with 4 very tired children, we went back the next day. The place is so unspoilt and so safe for the children as the beach is shallow in a protected bay.

La Sagesse is amazing, offering its guests a touch of paradise. I stayed here for over a week, and as I write this at night the surf is gently pounding the beach, only yards from my room, and the tree frogs are singing, how special is that? What makes La Sagesse so special? Firstly, its location, at the head of...

My husband and I stayed for five wonderfully relaxing days, the perfect way to complete an incredibly enjoyable however, rather busy few weeks exploring the island of Grenada. Shall I begin by sharing the joy of waking each morning; you open your eyes to the wonders before you.. the swaying of the coconut trees, the clear, warm waters beyond, and...

We have spent our first week in the Caribbean at La Sagesse. It was meant to be our delayed honeymoon with the baby! We have taken Mia with us, she was only 10 months old. This place is a piece of Paradise. It might be as we went during low season but we had the beach almost for us. The...

We stayed at La Sagesse while working on getting our boat ready for summer storage at Grenada Marine. The owners and staff did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable and convenient. They provided transportation to and from Grenada Marine each day. The staff were all warm and friendly, going out of their way to see to it that...

La Sagesse is the sort of place you're not really sure you want to tell others about - it tempts you to be selfish and keep it to yourself because it is so special in so many ways, it is as if you have arrived in paradise - listening to the sound of the waves from your room with a...
