We stayed 2 nights at Dogwood and absolutely loved our stay here. The 2 suites are spacious, very clean and well presented. The bed is comfortable, the towels thick and fluffy - and the suite offers everything you could need. We loved the patio furniture on our own private terrace, and also the full table and chairs inside the suite. The location is walking distance to town and very peaceful during the nights.
Don & his wife are outstanding hosts, and their breakfasts are delicious and freshly prepared with local ingredients.
We stayed 2 nights, but could happily have stayed more! If we lived closer we’d return in a heartbeat…Thank you.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were absolutely delighted with the accommodation which is in a newly built extension to the owner's house. Both suites have a private entrance and a deck with chairs - we were travelling as 2 couples and were provided with extra chairs for one deck so we could all sit outside in the evening and sample the lovely Okanagan wine together. Inside the rooms are light, airy, spacious and modern with extras such as a fridge and coffee machine. The owners, Don and Ann, were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Ann's breakfasts were truly legendary, and their advice on what to do and where to go was extremely helpful.
We renamed Summerland 'Slumberland' as the whole town seems to close down about 5pm and the streets are deserted. There wasn't a lot of choice of decent places to go for an evening meal but if you've got a car you can venture further afield. Although quiet it is a good centre for that end of the Okanagan and there are plenty of places to visit if you use it as a base. I would thoroughly recommend Dogwood B&B to anybody - five star in every way.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The room was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The location in Summerland is close to winerys, shopping and the lake.
I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to any traveler.

Our room was new and spacious, breakfast yummy and served outdoors on a patio by our very friendly hosts. Summerland is on Lake Okanagan and we could see the hills on the other side of the lake from our own balcony. This is a great place to stay if you want a bit of peace and quiet off the highway, and our hosts made us feel so welcome - we would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for one night and couldn't fault anything. The room was spacious, well equipped and private. Breakfast next morning was wonderful, fresh fruit followed by a lovely ham and cheese bake and freshly made muffins. Ann was a very warm and friendly hostess and we would highly recommend this B&B.

This was our second stay at the Dogwood, we stayed for a few days in August 2013. This time we stayed for over a week as we came for the Triathlon in Penticton. Probably the best thing I can say is that after 8 days here it did not feel like we were leaving a commercial establishment, but rather that we were leaving our close friends or family. We felt that comfortable there.

We stayed in the same room as last year and it was clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. As an athlete racing in Penticton I had a few special requests and Ann and Don were very accommodating to my needs.

Ann is a great cook and the breakfasts that she serves are as good if not better than anything you would have at home or at a high end restaurant. As an athlete, that is very important to me. There is no set time per say to go and eat. If you want to sleep in a little that is no problem. We usually ate at 0900, but if you wanted to push it back to 1000, I am sure that would not be an issue.

It may sound a little weird but I am trouble finding words to describe our stay, because it was that good. I can honestly say that I cannot find a single thing that was wrong with our stay nor can I think of anything to suggest to our hosts to improve upon, other than to just keep on doing what you are doing, don't change anything . The only suggestion I would have is for potential guests. If you are thinking of staying here, book early. As they are becoming quite popular and are getting to the point of being fully booked, especially during peak season.

We will certainly be back to stay at the Dogwood and will recommend it to anyone looking for a
B&B in the area.

A great five days at "Dogwood" B&B August 2011. This was our first trip to attend the Penticton Ironman Canada Triathlon (my husband did his first full Ironman Canada). We stayed in Eagle's Nest Suite, and found it cosy, very clean, quiet and very private with a separate entrance. It's only a 15 minute drive to Penticton, and a very pleasant commute. Ann prepares the best breakfast you can ever have, the black forrest ham/cheddar cheese stratta, banana stuffed french toast, quiche, freshly-baked muffins, and the herbs, all freshly picked right from their own garden. Each day something different for breakfast. To the really comfy bed, the relaxing outdoor patio and the wonderful birds. Ann and Don our lovely hosts made it all enjoyable, relaxing, comfortable and a memorable experience. Have enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Everything about our stay from entering our room to find a nice anniversary surprise from our hosts to finishing our stay with a great tasting pancake breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B. Our host even drove us to the Kettle Valley Steam Train station. We hope that some day Ann and Don will come visit us.

Stayed there from July 20-23, 2017. The Eagles Nest Suite was wonderful. Very spacious with a nice deck and of course private entrance. The bathroom was a nice size as well. The breakfasts were great with some sort of fresh fruit served as well every day. The hosts, Don and Ann were extremely friendly and seem genuinely interested in where you are from and your travels. I would recommend it to anyone and will probably stay there again next year if the same function I was at is held there again. And Summerland is worth the visit in itself - lots of wineries, orchards and lakes. Don and Ann would be a wealth of information regarding things to do.
