Nice room, very comfortable. Very clean. Loved parking right outside our door. Pool on site which we didn't use but looked very nice and clean. Small table and 2 chairs outside the room was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

This is a decent small motel, clean but dated. The beds were very comfortable. The man at front desk was very difficult to understand and didn’t seem to be very familiar with the check in process. He was very friendly though 😁 The AC unit is difficult to access, need to stand on a chair if you are short. Should also mention that the pool was closed due to failing a health inspection 😕too bad as it was a hot day when we arrived.😰 Would stay again as location is great.

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Rosedale Motel. The owners are sweet and helpful people who really made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfortable. My husband rarely has a good night sleep away from home so this was a big plus for us. The rooms and cabins were clean, and the outside area was lovely and nicely landscaped. We didn’t use the pool but it was well cared for and inviting. We will definitely be back next year.

My wife and I just could not get a good sleep during our 3 night stay. When we checked out we told the very nice owner this. He smiled at us and proudly told us that he bought these mattresses at Costco 2 yrs ago for $199.00 each. We are in our sixties and he said that all of his older guests love it. It was hard as a rock and very "crunchy". This was the springs we were hearing!! It will find your pressure points in 4 hours. LOL We stayed in one of the self contained cottages and other than this one most important issue I can report that the accommodation was TOP POCKET !! Extremely clean property. Very nice owner.

Clean, basic motel. Room was an ok size. No views. Had to leave the old air conditioner on for hours to cool down the room to sleep. Overpriced for what you get. Because it was clean, we would stay again if there were no better vacancies.

Very disappointed to discover that the pool here is no longer heated Consequently there are few adults brave enough to use it Huge loss to the overall enjoyment of staying here for more than a couple of days

Family owned and operated establishment that reminds of the ways Motels used to be. Service was great. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great. This is not the Four Seasons, nor does it try to be. It aims to be the best in its class and it hits on all cylinders.

The room was very nice and clean and the directions for down town were very good. We walked up to the Christmas celebrations, and later watched the fireworks display from the front of the motel, where we met a very nice gentleman who walked arm and arm with us back to our room his name was Jonnny the owner of Rosedale Motel, and we thank him for the very nice stay. and his wonderful staff person Fiorella who bent over backwards to help us find our way around town for the event. Again Thank you

If you want to stay right in Summerland, the Rosedale Motel is your only option. It's a short walk to the lovely downtown filled with shops, coffee spots and restaurants. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage (right beside the pool). Although the cottage was rather tiny (kitchen has no countertops so don't plan on doing much cooking) it was clean and well appointed. Couch, table & chairs (for 2) in living room, with a kitchenette located on one wall. Spacious bedroom with room for clothes storage. Only 2 windows (one in bedroom and one in living room) so the place was a bit dark. Enjoyed the cafe table and chairs at the front entrance to our cabin. Very clean too. Friendly owners and staff. Would stay again.

The Rosedale Motel in Summerland was a convenient place to stay. The Korean owners did all they could to help. The rooms have combined shower/bath and we found the shower mats were very slippery and could be a potential safety hazard. Someone who is not very mobile could have a nasty accident.
