This was my first Bed and breakfast and was I ever impressed. The rooms are bright and very clean. each had a theme. The area around is very quiet and there is trails to hike.We lounged in the hot tub under the stars after dinner in Harrison. The next morning, there was the most beautiful breakfast and home baked treats for us at our door. Even home made granola. The South Garden Bed & Breakfast was a most excellent place to stay.

My partner and I decided last minute to get away for a romantic weekend and were pleasantly surprised how wonderful the accomodations were at the south garden B&B.

The breakfast is delicous and the grounds are comfortable. There is a lovely hot tub available throughout the day for when you want to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

I would recommend this place to others and would certainly return again!

We just got back from our 3 day stay at the South Garden bed and breakfast and we feel relaxed and rejuvenated! We live in Vernon BC and wanted to go somewhere closer to home, and after reading the reviews on this site and browsing their website we decided on South Garden and are SOOO glad we did!! From the massage (she is amazing) to the romantic Dinner and DELICIOUS breakfasts every morning we were left feeling very pampered! We chose the cottage and enjoyed having our own space and privacy, the room was gorgeous, the tub very spacious and all the little touches in the room were very much appreciated :D We arrived to fresh cut flowers and a bottle of scrumptious wine and an amazing plate of cheese and crackers :D It was our first weekend being husband and wife and this bed and breakfast truly made it a weekend we will treasure forever!!
Thank you so much,
Gilles and Aimee

My husband and I spent our 5th Wedding Anniversary at South Garden B & B. The gardens were gorgeous! We are both outdoorsy types, so the hike up to the upper deck was wonderful. And what a beautiful view it was! We finished with a dip in the hot tub. The Meadow Suite provided excellent comfort, and the breakfast choices were delicious. Jacquie and John were great hosts, allowing us the privacy we were looking for on this very special occasion. We would certainly love to visit again!

Awesome to receive your response on our behalf, here at South Garden. Indeed, a few steps up into the forest on Green Mountain bring our guests to another world of beauty, quiet, and a bit of a steep climb up to the Upper Deck. The view from the Upper Deck is the reward. From there our guests sneak into the forest, exploring the loop trail. Welcome back again soon.

Very welcoming owners and respectful of your privacy - with yummy breakfast delivered to your door - when you want. We loved the deck a short climb up the cliff in the backyard. This is a much better option than staying right in Harrison - close to farms/tours, quick access to town services. Great service - great times.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the b&b for his birthday weekend getaway. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was great, the bed comfortable and really nice ventilation (important for those with allergies!). The shower was comfortable, the bath was nice too :) We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was tasty and brought in a way that didn't make you feel like you needed to greet them at the door. There were small touches that made you feel like you got your money's worth. The icing on the cake was the beautifully maintained property with a private hot tub area that was so nice to lounge in. I would recommend this place to someone staying in the Harrison / Agassiz area and we will definitely be staying there again.

Our family of almost 20 had a wonderful 3 days together. So nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. The kitchen was well equip for making our own meals and the yard was beautiful! We loved the hike just outside our living room. What a workout! We ate a lot of meals in the covered area outside. The only downside to that was taking food and dished up and down the stairs but we had many helping hands.
I highly recommend South Garden!

We rented the house plus the cottage for an early "Christmas" for our entire family for the weekend. We were 13 in total and found the sleeping accommodations clean and perfect. Each couple had their own bedroom as well as bathroom. From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home, even with three children under the age of five. There were games, books, movies and even toys for the children to play with. There was a great room with a large table that allowed us to spend time all together and there was even a Christmas tree all decorated for us. The owners could not have been nicer as they welcomed us and then left us to enjoy their home with large outdoor space including a hot tub and gazebo.
We would definitely recommend for a family getaway.

We started with this awesome B&B during its first year and have visited every year since.
Now they have added a wonderful gazebo and for kids swings and sand box. The gazebo is especially wonderful at night when lit up and with overhead heating lamp. If it does rain, it is wonderful to sit under cover staying dry, while listening to the rain on its roof. In the cottage, there is a wonderful selection of DVD movies for those times you just want to relax in the comfort of your "other home". Quiet, relaxing, restful and peaceful. The best part still remains your personally ordered breakfast served to your room with gentle knock on the door and wonderful basket of food left. You can dine in your warm, wonderful bathrobes provided for guests. If all this is not enough, John and Jacquie are simply warm, caring and customer loving owners, whom we have gotten to know and enjoy so very much. So will you. You owe it to yourself to stay here and enjoy this "best of the best B&B" we have ever stayed at all over the 7 continents we have visited.

We stayed one night in the "Sunflower Suite" and didn't want to leave! Hosts Jacquie and John were so nice and welcoming to us at their beautiful property just outside Harrison Hot Springs. The trees, flowers and landscape in general (including a garden waterfall) are very lush and lovely to behold-- a perfect example of how beautiful this area of the Fraser Valley can be. There is a fantastic view of the surrounding area from a landing on a short hiking trail behind the main house. We suggest that you see it yourself. Breakfast was wonderful and the menu has several choices; we had an omelette and waffles with fruit sauce which were both delicious. The suite we stayed in was spacious, clean and cozy. It was also close to the hot tub which is a wonderful touch to add to the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a while.

Yes, our guests enjoy a marvelous view from the deck up the mountain. Right now the corn is coming down in the Harrison Valley and if eyes are lifted it feels like you can see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. We welcome our guests to the forest trails in behind our home just off the upper deck. Please come again soon.
