This is a stunning resort on the Fraser River close to Agassiz, BC. The scenery is stunning, and the fishing is great! The food is delicious, accommodations are cozy and upscale with a lodge feel. Some rooms have hot tubs but book early as these are the first to go. We had a wonderful experience here for Valentine’s Day and look forward to booking next year.

Spent a weekend here for my partner’s birthday and was not disappointed! We stayed in one of the brand new Bison Suites, and every detail was accounted for. From the hot tub and heater on the patio, the view of the wildlife, and all of the special design details in the room, I would stay here over and over again. There was a private event in the main lodge so we couldn’t use those facilities, but it was just a quick trip into Harrison for dinner. We will definitely be back!

Was looking for a quiet place in nature to stay while visiting family in the area. When I walked in and saw the view I knew I had come to the right place. I was in the Bison suites, which I would describe as simple luxury - well-appointed without being too busy. Enjoyed my stay tremendously and will definitely book there again.

We can’t say enough good things about both our stay at the private lodge and our sturgeon fishing adventure! The accommodations were exceptional as we had the lodge which has four bedrooms each with a king bed and private bathroom, a great room, gourmet kitchen, large dining area, another table and chairs and sofa set up. Also laundry facilities and huge decks and verandas. The food at the main lodge was good and plenty was provided during our two days fishing with guide extraordinaire Neil Warnekin. Neil was knowledgeable both about the fish and conservation but also about the area and it’s history in general which we greatly appreciated. He aided our group of three children and four adults in catching and releasing nine sturgeon over two days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fishing trips and would recommend this lodge and team to all interested parties. Thanks to Neil and the folks at the lodge for a memorable trip!

Look out the balcony and bison roam nearby. The dining was excellent. I had a fantastic poached egg in Hollandaise and braised beef for dinner and the best tiramisu for dessert. I couldn’t believe the room, it was simply awesome, well fitted with modern amenities and yet country feel. Very clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had our elopement at the fraser river lodge and it was the best decision we could have made. Everything from the rooms, the food, the staff to the planning of our big day was amazing. During covid they were so helpful and understanding. Helping us change plans quickly with ease. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but for them to help us like they did during covid was above and beyond. We highly recommend fraser river lodge to anyone who is looking for a great venue, amazing food and happy and helpful staff! This review doesn't do them justice as everything was just so amazing! Thank you so much to everyone at the lodge!

This little hideaway is an untapped oasis in the outskirts of Agassiz BC. Located on the grounds of the Fraser River Lodge Resort, I rented the entire house for our “down home” family wedding and was so happy with the place! It boasts 4 luxurious bedrooms each with its own full bathroom! Soaker tubs! Rustic! So super clean! The rest of the house is so spacious! Huge living room where we tied the knot, full kitchen, huge deck overlooking Mt.Cheam. The herd of bison roaming the river front property. The hosts are fantastic and so professional. They really made our stay very memorable. We will be back for sure to this hidden gem! So very relaxing yet close to everything!

Excellent cuisine. Very attentive staff who go the extra mile. Spotless rooms with a stunning view. When I asked for a picnic lunch to take on our bike ride two wonderful complementary sandwiches were offered. Social distancing when dining was well done.

The owners of this place decided to go through all of our rooms during the ceremony and took and dumped out our alcohol. Had no idea we couldn’t have drinks in our own rooms. The front desk lady Olga was extremely rude and unprofessional.

As per liquor laws and as per signed contract and signed check in form, every overnight wedding guest agrees to not bring private liquor to the event. We are not only responsible and liable for any incidents and accidents occurring from personal liquor consumption on site, we are also responsible for making sure guests don`t over consume alcohol because we cannot keep track on alcohol consumed or “bootlegged” out of guests rooms. Based on that and a heads up by our security, we had no choice but to enforce liquor laws and signed contracts/forms in order to not only protect us, but also to make sure the wedding can continue without any alcohol related incidents.
