Excellent cuisine. Very attentive staff who go the extra mile. Spotless rooms with a stunning view. When I asked for a picnic lunch to take on our bike ride two wonderful complementary sandwiches were offered. Social distancing when dining was well done.

A Beautiful location to reconnect with nature and enjoy everything the lodge has to offer. It seems that every time I come back there’s more to do. Staff were approachable, professional and accommodating. The food was amazing made the trip worth it before we hit the water fishing. Although it was not the most active time of year for sturgeon fishing our seasoned guide Jay brought us to the hot spots of the river where we caught 4 monsters. An experience like no other while helping with the tracking and conservation of theses beautiful endangered creatures.

We had our elopement at the fraser river lodge and it was the best decision we could have made. Everything from the rooms, the food, the staff to the planning of our big day was amazing. During covid they were so helpful and understanding. Helping us change plans quickly with ease. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but for them to help us like they did during covid was above and beyond. We highly recommend fraser river lodge to anyone who is looking for a great venue, amazing food and happy and helpful staff!
This review doesn't do them justice as everything was just so amazing! Thank you so much to everyone at the lodge!

While the view and photos for my wedding was amazing, the staff and communication was a nightmare. They would go back on their word and change "rules" after the down deposit was paid. They stated that taper candles are not permitted but in our emails I have proof with a photo asking for permission if they were suitable as long as flame was enclosed in which they said yes to. Come to actual day they said they are not permitted, completely disregarding their written approval and charged me for "damaged linens" When all of this could have been prevented had they actually said no to the candles in the first place. We asked multiple times for photo proof of said damage and the would not send photos. We asked to keep the linens so we can resell them ourselves. My aunt got the linens from the venue and they are still white. I wish we could have had the promised photo proof before they took money out of our account. Prior to booking I was promised I could book a site viewing come spring as we booked venue date in mid winter and we are from out of town and couldn't drive due to roads. Come spring time I contact them to book a site visit in which they responded they don't do site visits. I screenshotted their previous email saying they would and then they allowed my mom to view as they couldn't make a date work for me. During our finalized meeting a month prior to the wedding they told me we could bring in our own late night snack without an additional fee. Night of the wedding they pull my husband aside interrupting him mid conversation that he was having with a guest to say we will be getting charged a $200 fee for supplying a late night snack. Luckily the next day we disputed that charge with them. Each staff member would tell us something different and were not at all on the same page. Which was extremely frustrating. There were many tears shed during this stressful time due to their lack of communication and changing their minds on policies. Even day of, staff weren't approachable. I had other vendors attend my wedding that day as I hired them for services and they ALL had clients with the same issues we had. We trusted the reviews on google, but unfortunately they delete the poor ones. Would never recommend this venue purely due to staff and management. I have formerly worked in the wedding industry for 10 years and have never seen a bride be treated this poorly. I just want awareness to be shared so brides can go in knowing what to expect. Keep all emails and have everything agreed upon in writing. They also up charged me an extra $10 per person 5 months prior to wedding. In which they do to every bride. Give them a lower rate, pay deposits and then up the food fees. I know Fraser River Lodge and their management won't do anything about this, I just hope they can properly train all mangers and staff to know ALL the same information when speaking to clients so people don't get told one thing and then later find out that isn't the case and get charged with hidden fees down the road.

The owners of this place decided to go through all of our rooms during the ceremony and took and dumped out our alcohol. Had no idea we couldn’t have drinks in our own rooms. The front desk lady Olga was extremely rude and unprofessional.

As per liquor laws and as per signed contract and signed check in form, every overnight wedding guest agrees to not bring private liquor to the event. We are not only responsible and liable for any incidents and accidents occurring from personal liquor consumption on site, we are also responsible for making sure guests don`t over consume alcohol because we cannot keep track on alcohol consumed or “bootlegged” out of guests rooms. Based on that and a heads up by our security, we had no choice but to enforce liquor laws and signed contracts/forms in order to not only protect us, but also to make sure the wedding can continue without any alcohol related incidents.

Look out the balcony and bison roam nearby. The dining was excellent. I had a fantastic poached egg in Hollandaise and braised beef for dinner and the best tiramisu for dessert. I couldn’t believe the room, it was simply awesome, well fitted with modern amenities and yet country feel. Very clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We went to David and Taryn's wedding and stayed two nights. What a relaxing experience. I would highly recommend the Bison #1 suite. Our room was wonderful the bed was most comfortable my husband loved the pillows. The Bisons and Donkeys were so nice to see every morning. At the end of the evening, it was so much fun to be in the hot tub and watch the baby bison run around. But most of all the scenery was to die for I can't tell you how wonderful a feeling it was to walk out on our deck and have a beautiful view of the mountains, river, Bisons and Donkeys very calming.
The day of the wedding was special the staff were most welcoming, and the food was great too we total enjoyed the day of celebration. I would highly recommend Fraser River Lodge for your next vacation or special celebration. Can’t wait to go back.

Spent a weekend here for my partner’s birthday and was not disappointed! We stayed in one of the brand new Bison Suites, and every detail was accounted for. From the hot tub and heater on the patio, the view of the wildlife, and all of the special design details in the room, I would stay here over and over again.
There was a private event in the main lodge so we couldn’t use those facilities, but it was just a quick trip into Harrison for dinner. We will definitely be back!

This little hideaway is an untapped oasis in the outskirts of Agassiz BC.
Located on the grounds of the Fraser River Lodge Resort, I rented the entire house for our “down home” family wedding and was so happy with the place! It boasts 4 luxurious bedrooms each with its own full bathroom! Soaker tubs! Rustic! So super clean! The rest of the house is so spacious! Huge living room where we tied the knot, full kitchen, huge deck overlooking Mt.Cheam. The herd of bison roaming the river front property. The hosts are fantastic and so professional. They really made our stay very memorable. We will be back for sure to this hidden gem! So very relaxing yet close to everything!

Was looking for a quiet place in nature to stay while visiting family in the area. When I walked in and saw the view I knew I had come to the right place. I was in the Bison suites, which I would describe as simple luxury - well-appointed without being too busy. Enjoyed my stay tremendously and will definitely book there again.
