2 nights here for a family of 4 cost half as much as Niagara Falls hotels. And you have the locks at your doorstep. Yes, it's outdated but very clean and functional. If the breakfast included at least some muffins or boiled eggs it would have been great.

I knew from pictures and research that the Inn was not a 5 star cookie cutter Chain Hotel. And that was great. Yes, the towels were then and there were not 6 pillows on each bed...but it also gave my credit card a break $$$ vs other places in the area. It is a motel, and sometimes that is what...

We stayed at the Inn in early August and were disappointed in the state of the room for the amount of money we paid. The beds (double) had no support due to their age. The carpet was worn, the bathroom right of of 1960 and the towels very thin. The only thing going for this hotel is watching ships pass...

We stayed while visiting friends in the area. It is located halfway between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Great since we were visiting both places. Held true to the reviews. Dated but clean. The best part is the balcony and the view. I had never seen a canal before and to watch the HUGE ships come thru the...

This motel is located just 10 minutes away from Niagara Falls. We stayed there to attend a wedding in Thorald. The area had been experiencing unusually high temperatures so the aire conditioning unit was working so hard to cool our room. We requested fans from the front desk and they were happy to oblige. That helped somewhat. This property is...

Parking good. Staff nice. Hotel and room very, very old. Clean, I think, but with the age of the place, hard to tell. I had to pull up a chair to access the air conditioning in the closet area. It was confusing to operate. Great view of ships in the lock, very entertaining. Bed was comfortable but still can not...

Some friends of ours said that this Inn was a great place to stay for day trips around the Niagara Peninsula. It was very true, and quite convenient. Three floors of rooms overlooking lock 7 of the Welland Canal give you a great view of the operation of the lock and the huge freighters that ply the Great Lakes. If...

The sat nav brought us up a dirt road which led to the road next to the lock, not the best of beginnings! Check in was quick and painless. Accessed our room through a general metal door and concrete stairwell. The room was clean, but..... the fridge must have been from the 1970's, the plastic wrap was still left on...

We stayed at the Inn for a wedding in a group of rooms. The locks were really neat to see and there was breakfast at the hotel. The manager was really nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay with family.

Very simple inn.. All the necessities nothing extra. Very clean and easy check in. Ear plugs may be helpful as the air conditioner is quite loud but not bad. The view was awesome, my kids loved seeing the ships come through. Love the free parking and breakfast. Friendly. Overall a good stay.
