The rooms we stayed in were awesome. They had thought of every detail. We chose the largest room and our daughter stay in the connecting room. The bathroom is well-appointed and has everything that you need. Breakfast is awesome and you can choose what you would like the day before...get the muffins, they are amazing. The pool and hot-tub area are awesome. It is nice to look outside at nature while you are enjoying yourself inside. The staircase to the room is a little daunting to take all of your belongings up to...however, there is an elevator if you ask. When you drive to this B & B there are two ways to go...you can go up the scenic escarpment...which is very bumpy or take the highway around to the property. Overall, it was a memorable trip and we would stay here again!
The estate was beautiful - both the property and the surrounding area. The autumn colours were so lovely! Doug was an exceptional host from email & phone contact to check-in, breakfasts and check-out. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the future!
Doug was very professional and respectful in his welcome. Had a great time, breakfast was overwhelming and delicious. Children enjoyed pool area. Very close to small towns and hiking trails. Very roomy facility and beautiful character.
First time taking my kids to a B&B and they LOVED it! They loved our host and we asking to go back before we even left. We had a wonderful stay! The conservation area near by was so close and great hiking, short and long trails with gorgeous scenery.
We capped off a wonderful day by getting engaged at Stone Edge! We had a refreshing swim, soothing hot tub, and enjoyed a nice sunset on the porch. Breakfast was amazing with an abundance of fresh fruit and we were surprised by a gluten free menu. Thanks for a memorable stay.
