Staying at Victoria Inn was like living in a dream. The hosts welcome you into their beautiful inn with warm hospitality and graciousness. The rooms are spotless and spacious, decorated with care. The grounds are breathtakingly lovely. Each morning we came downstairs to a perfectly set table with the most delicious homemade breakfast. I cannot wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at the inn. The hosts are kind and helpful. Things were kept clean and in line with health regulations during the pandemic. The gardens are breathtaking and the decor tasteful. The breakfasts were outstanding and the portions generous. It's a nice location to access many parts of the island. We especially enjoyed Brackley Beach, Thunder Cove and the Blue Mussel Cafe.

The Victoria Inn provided everything I was wanting in a B&B. The owners are so gracious and provided a delicious unique breakfast each morning. My room was spacious and the bed was great. Everything in the house is Victorian style and charming. The gardens are splendid.

Possibly the best B & B that we have ever stayed at. We visited for 7 nights in early July 2022 and cannot say enough about our hosts, the property and the restful ambiance of the Inn. Superb breakfast every morning and lovely clean room in the annex. Cannot wait to return.

What a wonderful stay at the Victoria Inn. We elected to stay at one of the cottages and it was perfect for us. A large space with kitchen, bathroom, separate bedroom and living/dining room, all beautifully furnished and clean. We chose to have breakfast at the inn one day and it was delicious! Leighton and Camelia were superb hosts, available when needed, helpful, friendly yet not intrusive. The gardens are amazing, and it was a joy to sit on the deck in the sun. The location is perfect for exploring the island, yet it has everything you could want if you elect to stay put. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.

The Victoria Inn is situated in rural Prince Edward Island within walking distance of the center of the small town Kensington. It is an easy drive to Cavendish home of the famous music festival.

There are rooms in the 100 year old house as well as and annex with rooms at the rear of the property. We stayed in the main house whereas our friends stayed in the annex so we spent time in both areas. The annex rooms have a sitting area and kitchen and they open to a veranda that is extremely pleasant for group entertainment.

Guests in the main building have breakfast included but it is offered at extra charge to those in the annex. The breakfast was very enjoyable and I was pleased that we were in the main building. There is no air conditioning but the street is quiet so there is no issue leaving a window open from the upstairs room.

The gardens and lawn surrounding the inn are beautiful and serene and we were visited by a family of wild foxes that live in the adjacent woods.

We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Inn and would return for another stay in the future

Beautiful Victorian Inn setting. Rooms in the inn or an annex that is built in the back of the property with 4 well equipped, extremely clean, one-bedroom efficiency, apartments. I stayed in one of the small apartments or suites. It was a peaceful setting with gorgeous gardens and a porch to enjoy a glass of wine and the bucolic setting. All at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed staying here and making day trips to the more touristy area of Cavendish. Breakfast are not included with the rooms but are offered.

We stayed for 6 nights in the Ferndale room while in town visiting family. Our room was immaculate, comfy, cozy and quiet, with ample space for our over packed luggage. Bathroom was spacious and had great water pressure in the shower and when you have thick hair that's important. We chose this place because of the location and the breakfasts, which did not disappoint! Breakfast was served on an inviting china place setting in the sun porch with a delicious different & fresh out of the oven entree every day. The buffet was a lovely presentation of fruit cups, yogurts, grain breads for toast with delicious homemade jams & preserves, juices, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, everything you could want and more. Leighton and Camellia are fabulous hosts and the grounds are beautiful and well kept, it was a nice touch that Camellia uses home grown items from their garden for breakfast for cooking and garnish. We had a fantastic stay at the Victoria Inn, we will stay here again on our next trip to Kensington and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This B&B and the grounds were immaculate. Beautiful flower gardens. The hosts were warm and really cared about our comfort and our ability to relax. After a restful night we had breakfast at the inn. The presentation and our breakfast had all the details of a 5-star resort. Wonderful options for a filling breakfast. A hot dish of eggs, cheeses and potatoes was fresh and served piping hot. They had additional options of yogurt, fresh fruit, whole grain toast with home-made jams and assorted beverages.
The rooms were so comfortable and relaxing. The bed had high-end linens and the room décor was perfect.
We will be back to tour this breathtaking island and "The Victoriainn" will be our resting place.
Thanks for everything

This house was beautiful. They were currently doing renovations on part of the first floor so we didn't get to see the entire community space. What we did see was lovely. The house was well maintained and clean. When we first arrived the gentleman was very polite. The only down side was the inn keepers weren't available after 6pm. We ran out of toilet paper and needed more linens. We even tried calling the front desk with no luck. The breakfast was ok, but not very filling. I think we might be a little harsh on the breakfast because the B&B we had just came from gave us such a filling breakfast and everything was homemade. Here, they made a nice small entree but the rest was boxed cereals and packaged yogurt. It didn't have the personal touch we expected. Overall, it was a nice place and when we saw the inn keepers they were nice, but service lacked.

Response from Leighton B, Owner at Victoria Inn
Responded Oct 25, 2013
I'd like to thank you for your comments. We appreciate your business and enjoyed having you as guests. We regret that you were disappointed in the level of service that we provide and would like to address your concerns. On the night that you stayed with us, we were in the midst of renovating a private area of the inn. No guest or common areas were affected by the renovations, however, the door to the private area was ajar until the paint was dry. We are happy that we were able to accommodate your early check-in and also able to provide you with Blu-Ray movies, ice bucket and wine glasses in the evening. It is standard practice for us to provide two rolls of toilet paper, and one set of towels per guest for a one night stay. We apologize that we did not hear you ring the bell for service later in the evening, as we are available until 9:00 pm in the off-season and until 10:00 pm during the summer. We're proud of the breakfasts we provide for our guests and pay special attention to presentation, nutrition, and quality. The homemade entree is always prepared fresh and served hot out of the oven each morning. In addition to that entrée, we also prepare a fresh fruit presentation, yogurt, whole grain toast, an assortment of homemade jams, cereals, hot oatmeal, juice, milk, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. Victoria Inn is a small, family run business and success to us is knowing that our guests have enjoyed themselves and that we've contributed in some small way to a memorable stay. We love this island and so enjoy sharing that love with our guests. One again we apologize that you were disappointed in your stay. Sincerely, Leighton & Camellia .
