I can happily recommend Ida y Vuelta to anyone passing through Holbox island. It has private cabins for couples or families, and dorms, hammocks and camp pitches for people looking to save some money. The owners are friendly, very helpful and speak over 5 languages - you will feel so at home, you will undoubtedly want to stay an extra...

We stayed in a private cabana and it felt more like a resort than a hostel - but with hostel prices. Very friendly staff, 3 minute walk to the beach, free breakfast, and a good vibe. Hope to return, both to Holbox and to this hostel!

We spent 6 nights in February at Ida Y Vuelta, one of them in a cabana with sandfloor and shared bathrooms, the rest in a wooden cabana with private bathroom! We loved both of them! The sandfloor cabana was really spacious and had an own hammock inside and the shared bathroom was very clean! The wooden cabana was set further...

Had a great time in this piece of paradise called Holbox. We rented a small apartment and found it perfect with our 2 children. The managers/owners are great! There are many options on Holbox. We wanted a kitchen and a private place with the kids so this was a good option. 2min walk to the beach. A bit out of the...

We arrived without booking, though a booking at this place is to recomend. This place is stuffed with good people and the owners are incredible. We slept in all kind of rooms, even a boat with just a net for protection and enjoyed every second at this place. If you wanna meet people and be called by your name from...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here.we were in a sand floored cabana with en suite. Due to the great price of the place we weren't expecting too much in the way of extra frills. We were very pleased to see that our room got cleaned, the floor raked, bed made etc on a daily basis. There were even flower...

I stayd 10 days beginning of January and I really felt welcome, at home and 'viziata'. The couple of owners Davide and Sasha are always gentle, smiling and helpful. Everything goes slowly and fits with the soul of the island. Good food and cozy cabanas decorated with love. I'd love to go back soon.

Friendly staff and very beautiful! We got a small tour and map upon arrival which helped us to get around the island. The accom is at walking distance from the harbour (no golf cart taxi needed without heavy luggage). The cabanas are built with great eye for detail. Our private cabana with bathroom had a hammock inside and the shower...

My boyfriend and I just returned from a 5 day, 4 night stay on Isla Holbox at the Hostel & Cabanas Ida y Vuelta. We loved the island and the hostel so much we booked an extra night there while we were staying. We rented a private cabana with a sandy floor, for about $60 a night. Yes there were...
