We just got back from Holbox, and im taking my time to share this review. Service is basically nonexistent, you are left to your own devices for just about everything, including guessing whats on the mind of the working personnel who only speak spanish at times and dont even make eye contact. With such a lovely island setting, there are...

Visited this hotel recently with family and friends, stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every single minute of our stay. First you will encounter with the friendliness of their reception staff who are always willing to assist with anything you may need, within or outside the resort. Rooms are spacious and with comfortable beds, equipped with air conditioning and other...

Our visit was very comfortable as we set our expectation on what it truly is: an ecofriendly stay were the main scope is to interact with a beatiful beach, the most awesome sunsets ever and local cuisine with all the traditional sea flavor. 8min walk far from the island's downtown where all enterteinment happens, making a very calm place to...

Very basic accommodation. Room only had the bare necessities. Super uncomfortable bed that felt like sleeping on rocks. Shower water pressure ridiculous. Breakfast very limited. Staff ok but did not give a professional service. Beach great but where are the sunshades??? This hotel is sadly lacking greatly in many areas. Could be pretty nice with some investment but as it...

The public areas of the hotel look fine and the pools are great but the rooms need TLC and lots of maintenance work to satisfy the price we paid. Staff are good but for us the importance of a quality room is very high on our list and we didn't get it.

Holbox is amazing! This was no my first time here. The hotel is so charming with the bungalows with hammocks in the terrace and the wide beach area, lovely front desk staff smiling all the time, assisting you with every need. They surprised us with our romantic decoration in the room. I've read punishing reviews and I don't really think...

Wow a real let down. This is the most basic of "hotels" we've ever stayed in. Small dirty pool, bathroom totally useless due to it's weird design, dust and dirt under beds and in corners of the room and mosquitos everywhere. The breakfast was very poor and nothing tasted fresh. Big mistake for us coming to this place, although we...

I liked this place for the most part. The staff were mostly pretty friendly. The rooms were basic, but fine, if a little musty. Beds were firm and I usually like firm, but these were beyond. I liked the location a lot. It was a very short walk to the center of town but far enough removed that you didn't...

I just returned from a two day stay at Xaloc with my two kids. I paid for 3 days but decided to leave one day early (was better to be home). I tried to get a bungalow in the front but they told me NO kids in front pool or area. We tried to respect that but was super disappointed...
