Treated ourselves to a weekend at the Villa, and it couldn't have been more special. A stunning B&B that is so much more. A stunning pool and beautiful garden with Mt Buffalo as the backdrop. Our room was lovely, spacious and beautifully appointed with all the little touches that make this place such a stand out. The hosts Ben and...

The room we had was excellent as was the housekeeping. The breakfasts were excellent. Although mains as such for dinner were not on the menu the selection of 'bar foods' were filling, of excellent presentation, varied and reasonably priced. The hosts Kristen and Ben were experienced, thoughtful and helpful in making our stay there extremely pleasant. The range of wines...

We stayed here as a getaway for our anniversary and are very happy with our choice. We were greeted at the front door by our hosts Ben and Kirsten who made us feel very special from the minute we met them. The accomodation was beautiful with attention to detail. The bar menu was excellent and the choice of wine equally...

We returned after nearly six years, two children, and found the hospitality of the new owners Ben and Kirsten impeccable. The pre-dinner Prosciutto De Palma was exceptional as we settled into comfy chairs in front of a nice fire. Ben made all our decisions whether it be heading out for cointreau for margaritas, the choice of wine and the finishing...

We stayed at Villa Gusto for our anniversary. This cosy, warm chateau is surrounded by picturesque gardens and views of surrounding mountain ranges. It is perfectly nestled away for both peace and privacy. Our hosts were exceptionally hospitable; making us feel very welcome and giving us plenty of advice about local events and activities. We would recommend Villa Gusto to...

We spent the most delightful long weekend at Villa Gusto. Our hosts were remarkable. From the moment of our arrival we felt the passion of all things Italian. Our welcome was warm and friendly and we felt immediately at home. The dining area is adorned with Italian vintage posters, books on Italian cooking, as well as a range of magazines...

Went here for weekend with friends. So beautiful although it was clear blue skies. Short trip to Bright. The rooms were great, lovely pool and decks. The main thing was the hospitality and the big communal room. The food was of a very high class and we had an amazing time. Easily spend a very long weekend just chilling out.

We made a last minute decision for a long weekend and booked Villa Gusto. So glad we did, what an amazing place. We've stayed in places all over Europe and America and this is up there with the best. Our hosts Ben and Kirsten just make staying there so easy. Ben has vast wine knowledge and a cellar to match...

NOTE: when reading reviews on Villa Gusto: they reopened to the public in January 2016 and had been closed due to private booking for nearly 2 years. I was rather confused why reviews were so confusing and mentioned different hosts/restaurant until we got there and Ben explained. Our review: we stayed with Ben and Kirsten at Villa Gusto for 4...

We have just had a 2 night stay at Villa Gusto. Ben and Kirsten, our hosts, welcomed us and from the outset attended to our every need. We had dinner both evenings in their restaurant; the quality of the food was outstanding, matched with Ben's extensive selection of wines. The breakfasts were also delicious. The views to Mount Buffalo were...
