It was good for the price, nice showers and safe which is always handy when staying in a campervan. :)
Very close to town but has work going on which got a little bit noisy but nothing we couldnt handle.

This is by far the cutest little campsite we visited in NZ. It's perfect when visiting the waitomo caves and the facilities are clean. There's not much to not like about this site so yes I would reccomend it
Having paid more for campgrounds in the past, this little campground was a lot cheaper and had everything we needed - even hearing Kiwi's (birds that is) as we settled off to sleep! Kitchen & bathroom (no extra for a shower) & laundry(again cheap) facilities...More

Thank you for your feedback. We are a not for profit charity so rely on an honesty system when visitors arrive after the Kiwi House reception is shut. Our facilities are cleaned daily but sometimes other visitors can leave surfaces oily after cooking. We'll certainly...More
