We stayed in the tented lodge. It was an oasis. Spacious, great attention to detail and super relaxing. The safari was amazing - will always remember the animals we saw. It is not cheap, however, worth every penny. Book book book!!

It's my second time. Best place to stay is the tented lodges but those were booked. If you want to experience a reserve that doesn't look like a zoo this place is for you. All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. Everything is perfect from the food to the beds and the safaris are very well organised....

It's not Kruger National Park, but expect a dramatically different wildlife experience at this stunning private game reserve -- the 4th largest private reserve in South Africa. The Big Five are all here, plus one of the only free-roaming prides of white lions in the world. Spectacular mountain scenery and wildly different, diverse bionomes are also home to hundreds of birds...

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful place. Our accommodations were huge and comfortable (and beautiful). The food was fabulous. Everyone was SOOOO kind, and the price was right (unfortunately for South Africa, the exchange rate is very good to USD). We loved our guide and loved seeing the animals. We got very close to giraffes and that was pretty awesome,...

As first time safaris go this reserve is a must. We stayed in the Dwyka tent lodges and they are extremely comfortable but totally Africanised. Definitely recommend. There are other lodges which I would imagine are fantastic too. There is also a family friendly one. The safaris were more than I could ever imagined and our ranger (Marco Flitcher) made...

We stayed in September 2016 the first stop of our honeymoon and by fair the best. From arrival to departure we were retreated with excellent service by all staff but especially Adrian the manager at dwyka. The chef is very high quality and food was at very high standard, we enjoyed the BBQ/bonfire night with the rangers which is a...

Quite simply one of the best 3 days I've ever had. All staff were amazing with great attitude, they could not do enough for us, our guide Jandre and senior guide Owen were brilliant. One thing i really liked is the fact that drinks were not very expensive unlike many 5 star resorts were you are a captive audience. Really...

The highlight of our 6 weeks in South Africa. We stayed at Dwyka Tented area which was fantastic. The staff and our Guide did everything to make this a memorable stay. The landscape was spectacular and the wildlife drives excellent. We even saw 3 lionesses stalk and kill a warthog, a once in a lifetime experience.

I cannot praise this place highly enough. This private reserve is situated in the Little Karoo and has a uniquely beautiful mountainous landscape, with wonderful geological formations, interesting plantlife, prehistoric rock art and extraordinary wildlife (including rare white lions.) We stayed at Tilney Manor which had lots of history to offer in its main buildings as well as beautiful accommodation....

This is a spectacular private reserve and lodge, with some of the most welcoming and professional staff I have met. What's more they take 'rewilding' and conservation very seriously. Their guides are enthusiastic and wildly knowledgeable. What's more their rooms are stunning....and I could go on. It may not be the Kruger, but it certainly makes up for it in...
