Overnight stay so booked in for the wine and dine menu in the restaurant for dinner. Wow! Four excellent courses with paired wines. The food was possibly the best we have had in SA after seven weeks of touring. The rooms are satisfactory and certainly fine for an overnight stop. We were in the building across the road to the...

Pleasant overnight stay. Courteous staff, room was beautifully furnished nd comfortable although no air-conditioning which didn't seem to matter. We declined the offer of dinner although very satisfied with the recommendation of The Old Tavern. Breakfast very good.

Have stayed before and really happy but this time the rubbish bin in the bathroom had not been cleared from the previous guest. When I reported it at reception the reply was "oh thank you for telling us". How about an apology? Do not expect that level of service in an establishment of that quality.

We loved this quaint beautiful Lodge, It was quirky and the bedroom was quiet and very relaxing. We regret that we had only booked one night here but had an experience of a lifetime with the wine and dine evening starting with drinks in the wonderful gardens. A delicious meal of local food and amazing wines. This wine and dine...

The Mimosa lodge is an excellent place to stay especially the room we occupied being room 12 . We had our own little garden and plunge pool. The breakfast was good but the al acarte evening meal was fine dining at its best with excellent quality wines. Meals to be remembered. Staff were very helpful and courteous. An excellent stay.

We were on a motorbike tour and our accommodation had been booked by the bike hire company to best fit in with our schedule. Montagu was a convenient overnight stop and Mimosa Lodge was the selected accommodation. I noticed that evening meals at Mimosa got good recommendations so I made a reservation separately well in advance. It turns out that...

We had a huge room here with a tremendous view over the garden and the mountains. The buildings are all modern and everything in the room was clean and well maintained. We had a big double bed, the area was very quiet and sleep quality was excellent. Everything worked in our room and the wifi was fast and free. There...

This was a comfortable enough stop on a long drive, but I can't imagine wanting to spend any longer here. Due to the lack of choice in the evening menu we ate elsewhere in the evening. Breakfast was fairly average.

Very friendly and welcoming owners and staff, beautiful garden and nicely decorated rooms. In the center of town but quiet, all easily accessible by foot. The restaurant is a must for dinner! Will visit again...
