The bed was very comfortable, the room was large, and the staff have shown me a very warm hospitality. The nights were often blessed with the cool breeze, which made relaxing wonderful to seat on the patio and enjoy the night sky. I join Mimosa Lodge for dinner once and I must say the dining was perfect. I enjoyed my...

we stayed two nights in this very pleasant hotel. the staff was very friendly. the rooms are nicely decorated (although in our room the lighting was not sufficient). the breakfast was good. on a negative note: after strong winds the pool was not so clean when we arrived. the next day it was cleaned.

Huge and clean room in a close to 100-year-old bulding , very friendly and helpful staff. Cold and warm breakfast. The dinner menu was close to a menu of Michelin star type restaurant. Many bottle aged red wine - we choose a 10 years old pinotage (Rd 375,-!!) Generally, you can choose any guesthouses or lodges in South Africa if...

Friendly staff will give you a warm welcome at this lovely little hotel in Montague. Rooms are stylishly and tastefully decorated, and the hotel has a comforting and relaxing feel. A lovely spot to stay while you visit the sleepy village of Montague. The hotel's restaurant prepared a delicious meal for us, and we were very pleased that they were...

The Mimosa Lodge was just fabulous the only negative was that I wish we had more time to stay there. The staff was great, the Lodge was beautifully kept up, the breakfast was delicious, and our rooms were very comfortable. A great place to stay on our way to Cape Town.

We had a splendid stay at Mimosa Lodge, from the attentive service of the staff to the pre-dinner get together to the SUPERB meal -- one of the best we've had anywhere. This chef really knows how to cook and present his meals. There's a set menu with (or without) wine pairings, and from starter to dessert it was very...

The garden is beautiful and the rooms are set out in the grounds, we had a little nose around and think that the garden suites looked fabulous. Our room was at the back so very quiet and reached through a metal locked side gate right next to where it was easy to park. Bit perturbed by all the locked gates...

The room we had was very big and tidy with a nice view to the garden and mountains. All personal was really friendly and always there to fulfil our wishes. We had a 3 course dinner at the restaurant which was tasty although wenn didn't like the meat served for the maincourse. It was blue wildebeest and tasted very strong....

The Mimosa Lodge is nestled in the mountains in the Garden Route. the room was spacious and well looked after and the garden grounds were beautiful with a lovely pool to swim in. We opted to have the dinner there which was done by an award winning chef, and believe me it is worth the money, the food was absolutely...

Mimosa lodge was recommended to us by friends and we will recommend it to other people. It is a beautiful lodge with most friendly people and the diner at night was something special. Also breakfast was excellent. It is worse while to have a walk through Montago, a nice little village where time seems to have stopped a while ago.
