Rooms are very comfortable, kingsize beds, outstanding bathroom facilities. Balcony even faciltates an outdoor tub to give you the Spa-feeling. We were welcomed in the lobby with a tropical cocktail drink. Great hospitality!!! Breakfast is served semi open air with beach view. Many things to choose from; western, traditional Malay, all kinds of bread, cereals, wide variety of eggs, fruit...

Spent a night at this hotel together with family-in-law. The hotel was renovated years ago. However, ageing was the first impression now. We stayed at a deluxe room. The room is big and have a complete toiletries and amenity. An outdoor bath tab at the balcony allowed the guest to enjoy the moment privately. Many choices for the breakfast, to...

This second visit to Lone Pine Hotel was as wonderful as the first! It's like coming home - a family of familiar and cheerful staff members; spacious and clean grounds, clean and large airy room; with the quirky feature of a soaking tub in the balcony for the uninhibited. The highlight of staying at Lone Pine is waking up in...

We spent 6 nights here on our recent trip to Malaysia. We found the staff were very polite, welcoming and super responsive to our requests. Our room on the 3rd floor was huge, very well appointed and had ocean views. It also had an out-door spa-tub and to our pleasant surprise the hotel provided us with 4 complimentary soft drink...

We stayed at the lone pine for 5 nights in April and all in all it was a good stay. The hotel itself was slightly run down however still marketing itself as a 5 star which it was quite evidently not anymore. The images online can be quite deceiving as they were taken quite a while ago. The food was...

I was staying for 2 nights in Penang. Service is good, staff is friendly and the surrounding is awesome. The breakfast is good too. It's convenient to walk around Batu Ferringhi as there's night market, bars, restaurant and massage parlor nearby the hotel. Will definitely be back again.

We visited in September 2016 and booked a deluxe room but when we arrived they gave us an upgrade to premier room with 2 double bed without any extra costs! We were very delighted and appreciate their hospitality. Their breakfasts was also of utmost quality with lots of choices and the staffs are friendly and helpful with very professional training....

Beautiful location and elegantly designed and landscaped hotel. Breakfast however was bad -- the spread is large, however almost everything is poorly executed. The nasi lemak got soggy rice for both days we were there, the chicken curry was tasteless. Almost everything else, from the eggs to dimsum, were bland, unappetizing and made without any care or effort. Service was...

Nice hotel with clean rooms and great view. It is connected straight to the beach at the back of the hotel. Great location as in it nears the bus stop. Friendly staff as we requested for early check-in and they put in effort to get us one and finally we managed to early check in. However sometimes encounter difficulty in...
