We were to people who stayed here for 12 nights, and we had a great time. We stayed in one of the rustic cabins, and that felt like the best choice. At first, it felt a little bit more rustique than what we had expected, but after the first night everything felt great. The cabins has coldwater showers, but really,...

We arrived at Don Jon's after a very long and adventurous drive from Tamarindo. We rented 2 rustic cabins for 4 persons each. Rooms were really nice, private bathrooms, clean and nice smelling sheets. Free wi-fi, good food for breakfast (not included in the room's price). The place is very nice, with hammocks everywhere, Don Jon is a really nice...

We just loved it. I recommend the rustic rooms. They have a private bathroom. The whole place is very very nice and special. Prices are very convenient. Location is great. Inside the court we saw iguanas and squirrels. They also have hostel options. Try the Pura Vida Soda , about 20 meters away as you go out to the right....

Don Jon is the man and his place was a lot of fun! I stayed there Dec-Jan 2013 but still wanted to write this. Great location, good food options close by, nice 3-5 minute walk alongside the semi jungle/forest that leads to the surf break and the amazing sunsets, great vibes at the hostel, and just was a really good...

I love Don Jon's! Great people, right across the street from beach access with great surf, and right next to a really cool art gallery/restaurant. We had three of us in a private room and it was heaven - a treehouse with our own balcony, waking up to the sounds of monkeys in the forest. Careful, this place will suck...

As soon as we arrived we wanted to stay longer. Santa Teresa is an amazing town and this is a really cool hostel. The only issue we had was there was a urine odor from the cat, but we talked to the cleaning lady and got it sorted out. Despite the pee, I would stay there again.

My friend and I arrived in Santa Teresa, and asked a walker by that happened to be the owner of Don Jon. I had previously been there, I knew the area; this time I wanted something simple - nothing fancy. We were so lucky with the place. They showed us a cute little wooden hut, very clean, 3 beds, WC,...

Let's start by saying I haven't been to0 active on Trip Advisor for as much traveling as I do...but this experience was worth reviewing as it was one of the most fun solo traveling trips I've been on! I went to CR on a whim and went to Santa Teresa on a recommendation of a girl who lives there (I...
