Stayed 3 nights in the surf casitas and it was wonderful. Hugo is very accommodating and helpful and makes sure you have whatever you need. He went and bought us candles during a power outage, and let us stay on our last day until the shuttle arrived. Cozy little casitas with comfy beds and plenty of room. Slept with two...

I stayed alone in one of the casitas. The accommodations are basic, but they are clean. I recommend getting one of the casitas further from the road. Beginning in the morning, the noise of motorbikes, trucks and quads can be very bothersome. At night, it's not bad. Other things to note is that you will need to buy/bring your own...

We had a wonderful time staying in the surf casitas. Great location in ST, with only a few minutes walk to the best part of the beach. Restaurants and a small supermarket is located nearby, but the casitas are in a very quiet part of ST, so no noice during the night - just the sound of nature. The casitas...

We decided this time to only relax this holiday without moving around too much, and staying at Surf casitas was just the best place to relax. The casitas were clean, fresh, with AC and fan, hot shower and a good veranda to chill. A few meters walking and crossing the road you are at the beach with the best waves...

This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa! We stayed in the sun house for 12 nights and loved it! The location is perfect, the supermarket is really close and it is just a few minutes walk from the "city" of Santa Teresa: which is perfect! This means you can get some peace and quiet. Apart from the...

I've been meaning to write a r/v for some time after having stayed at the surf casitas for approx ONE WHOLE MONTH (!!) earlier this year. It was perfect location to enjoy quieter end of Santa Teresa, close to yoga and phenomenal surfing beach. Still able to easily access busy side of town. I hired a bike to do this,...

I just finished a two-day stay at Surf Casitas. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is so peaceful and beautiful there. I loved waking up early to the chorus of different birds singing and the low bass growl of a resident howler monkey. I enjoyed walking through the main gate and seeing the wonderful tropical garden. The casita...

This was the perfect place to stay while in Santa Teresa. Whether we wanted to just relax on the front porch in a hammock, or walk to the beach (just across the street) this place was absolutely perfect to come back to each day. It was clean and comfy and had AC which was a nice bonus for sleeping at...

I have to agree with the other reviewers that Ugo's attention to detail and his desire to go above and beyond for his guests really set the Surf Casitas apart. They are clean and have every amenity you would need on a beach vacation. The property is in close proximity to the beach which is what was most important to...
