The view was awesome.
We were in the apartment with bahttub, so my girlfriend love it.
Furniture is really cool old style.
They have big terrace where you can sit and drink a wine (just crazy kids under the terrace make a noise until 1 at night).
Breakfast was delicious and i think the made homemade banica, was really good breakfast.
It was strange when we want to order food for our room, but they didn't let us. We ask just to take the plates for the apartment but they still didn't let us. Suggest to do something about it, because when they have big group in the restaraunt and you want to eat in calm place ... you need to go ouside to buy something and come back to eat in your room or go to some restaurant outside..

We had two nights in the apartment at the hotel. It was great! Quirky layout and very traditional look. Very little English was spoken but that wasn't a problem at all! Very warm and welcoming in a great quiet location just a vey short walk from the main attractions. We ate in the restaurant where the son spoken excellent English. Great value for money and a very relaxing stay. If you want a standardised hotel chain package this isn't the place for you but if you want to experience a little more of Bulgarian hospitality - don't hesitate!

This place can be a little hard to find, but it's well worth the effort. (walk across the old covered bridge, through the little square and turn right and walk along the river front till you find it). In fact it's worth visiting the town of Lovech just to stay here. There are only about 8-10 rooms so worth booking ahead. The rooms are very comfy and homely and very nicely fitted out. Given the quality it's great value for money (we are backpacking and it's affordable). The owners make you feel like your staying in their home. Try and get a room with a verandah if you can. And make sure you give yourselves at least one night at their garden restaurant. Home cooked meals with wonderful service! The room also includes breakfast, with is a very hearty meal. We highly recommend this place.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have always found the accommodation to be of a very high standard. This is a family run hotel and the service and friendliness of the staff is excellent. The restaurant is situated in the basement and serves some of the best food in Lovech both in quality and quantity, although you do need to book a table as it is very popular with the locals as well. The veranda rooms are the best as they overlook the river and railway line cut into the cliff face with an excellent view of the covered bridge. The hotel is in an excellent position being only 300 yards from the main square and shopping precinct but far enough away to be noise free.
The old area of Varosha is in this location with its cobbled streets and timber framed houses,a step back in time. We have stayed in other hotels in Lovech as we visit frequently but consider the Varosha to be the best by far.

We stayed here on the last night of our trip and are so glad we picked this hotel. We were only in Lovech as we wanted to visit the Devetashka Caves and it's an easy drive to Sofia for the flight home.
From the moment we walked through the well kept courtyard into the reception we knew we made the right choice. The standards of everything here are so much better than most of the family hotels we have stayed in, it was a shame we only had one night.
We had dinner in the courtyard which was tasty and well cooked, the service was excellent and the bed was sooo comfy it was hard to get up in the morning.
Budding Bulgarian hoteliers should visit here to learn how to do it properly !

This hotel was recommended and we would recommend it too. The room was big, with the most comfortable bed. A balcony with a view of the river. Free parking. Lavish breakfast. Hot water was an issue one day but soon sorted by hotel. All staff very friendly, polite and most spoke English which was very helpful. Would definitely return.

Very friendly hotel, rooms are large and modern with good quality furnishings. Well appointed bathrooms, both times we stayed bath was jacuzzi. Staff are very friendly and some understood and spoke English, all are very helpful. The food is great especially compared to many other places we tried around Bulgaria and the portions are huge. Great coffee!
All in all a wonderful familly-run hotel and 2 very pleasant stays.
