This is a beautifully maintained hotel which is spotlessly clean, spacious and relaxing. The owners are so kind and keen that you have everything you need. One of the owners is a classically trained guitarist who played for us as we came in which was an unexpected pleasure! The bedrooms are comfortable with beautiful views and the bathrooms are excellent. Eating breakfast outside by the pool with beautiful views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other was a lovely way to start the day! The only slight niggle we had was that the croissants and orange juice at breakfast seemed a little cheap....couldn't fresh croissants be brought in from a local boulangerie?

Rooms were decent size, disappointed that no mini fridge to keep cold water or other small food items. Extremely clean and renovated rooms. Pool was wonderful although daybeds a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic but good.

We found the location good, just ten minutes walk above town and station, yet quiet. The garden and pool were good ( although pool not one before 10.00) , but we had it to ourselves ( being October). The rooms were very clean and good daily tidying. The bathroom was newly fitted and one of the best we have experienced. The room was adequate, but a little bare of comfortable furniture. The lack of service in the evenings could be an issue, and the hotel would benefit at least from a bell or intercom ( although there was a phone number shown). The breakfast was supplied on a tray in the dining room, but there was no way we could have eaten all on the tray - just a large cintinental breakfast. The room was tidied to our surprise whilst we were having breakfast, with our clothes scattered everywhere, but suspect being near end of season they had few rooms to clean, and we were requested to close the shutters ( not sure why ???). There was little information supplied by the hotel, and the reception staff, not very good at English. The information and welcome could be much improved, and an offer to carry heavy bags up the stairs for some would be desirable. We're were on top floor, the second floor, but there were two half floors on ten way. Having said that for the price, cleanliness and very good bathroom we would recommend the hotel for those not liking large hotels, or in noisy locations. We enjoyed Ille rousse with fabulous beaches nearby and coastal and mountain walks. We much recommend the resort, with good train and ferry services. Also the resort enjoys some of the best weather in Corsica.

The good news is you can take your bags downhill when you leave if you are heading to the train station. Rooms are reasonable sized and very clean. It's about a 10 minute walk uphill from the train station. There's a pool and staff are very helpful. Nice artwork on the walls. No fridge but there is a vending machine selling beer for 2 euros. A great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in this fabulous and very well-maintained hotel with a very good price-quality ratio! It has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the owners are very friendly and make you feel at home instantly. Despite of the experiences of some other reviewers, to our experience, the service of the hotel is really good. Yes, it's true that after 8 pm there is no reception and yes, the employees/owners don't speak English very well (albeit much better, than I speak French ;-)) But they do work with translation apps, which is a charming way to solve language barriers from my point of view. The hotel is very child-friendly too, and cribs are available upon request. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with the beach and the cute center of L'ile rousse on a walking distance downhill (this might be less convenient for parents with strollers, but since we had a baby carrier, it was no real problem for us). Every morning a fantastic and very varied breakfast buffet is served (including, breads, croissants, ham's, cheese, eggs, fruit salad, yoghurt, fresh orange juice et cetera); there's an option to eat outside on the beautiful patio which we absolutely loved. Next to the patio, there is a swimming pool with sun beds and parasols, set in a beautiful garden. The rooms are perhaps a bit small and basic (and lack facilities such as a little fridge/mini bar and a water boiler), but they are comfortable enough and we didn't hear any noise from other hotel guests. One of the things we didn't realize beforehand (which was completely our own fault), was that the rooms don't have a balcony. Normally, that wouldn't have been a problem, but since we were traveling with a one year old who sleeps twice during the day, it was not super convenient. Luckily, we got a room on the first floor (nr 17) really next to a sitting area in the garden, so we were able to stay there with the baby monitor while our little munchkin was sleeping. Problem solved :-) All in all we can fully recommend this lovely hotel and we'll definitely stay here again during a next holiday :-)
