Very clean and well maintained hotel.
Very friendly staff.
Very nice home.
The hotel is close to Roche Guyon, approximately 13 km away, and to Giverny. Very decent and clean standard room, bathroom with showerđź‘Ť

Do not mention on the bill salads that you did not serve but that we paid for.
Concerning the biscuits sold in the bakery, the mini financiers and the shortbread that I bought were way too salty! The lemon cake was ok but lacked a syrup for extra softness!

No hot water without explanation or apology
Breakfast served sparingly: the waitress surely does not like what she does
For beer at 5.50 euros on the other hand they play the high end
Nice view but they should review the customer experience

In terms of hotel, nothing but compliments, keep it up.

The restaurant food was first class... And the presentation made it taste even better.... I had gazpacho which tasted amazing and then guinea fowl to follow. The cuisine is perfect and better still there is a bakery adjoining the restaurant. This makes the breakfast baguettes the freshest I have tasted!!
Brilliant hotel and would definitely revisit. The reception and hospitality was second to none
A big thanks you!!
The waiter in the restaurant was very rude to us, practically laughing in our faces (we're fluent in french.. language wasnt an issue)
I've never been treated so bad, and definately wouldnt return to this hotel unless I was desperate for a bed. Certainly wouldnt set foot in the restaurant again.

Now for the unpleasantness in brief: Hotel was closed today - Monday - with NO ONE to contact. Many of our party were locked out of their rooms and others did not have hot water to shower, with no possibility of contacting anyone. No food. No people. Just a locked gate at reception.
More details: I make an effort to communicate in the language of the country I am traveling to, however pathetic those attempts might be. However, this is a HOTEL and it would be helpful for *someone* there to speak more than 10 words of English. One person there knew enough to answer the most basic questions but when there are problems (as there were today) you are completely on your own / out of luck.
The booklet in the rooms indicates that food is served from 11:30 to 2:30 and then again in the evening. That is not accurate. The book DOES NOT SAY that hotel is completely closed on Mondays. Today is Monday.
The one employee I caught on her way out indicated (with the help of the translate app) that
there is no food available for the next 10 hours, and next town is pretty far on foot.
Luckily, many musicians from the Blues Sur Seine festival are staying here and so seeing as we all had the same problems, we became fast friends and carpooled, and found one of the few local places open on Monday - Apparently France is closed for business on Sundays and Mondays.
So we go pick up our food and come back to the hotel to find THAT EVERYONE WAS LOCKED OUT of their rooms. The cleaning lady (luckily) was there and let people in only to find - wait for it - NO HOT WATER for the bad to take showers before their gig.
Really? The people are nice enough and the rooms are completely fine, but the language barrier, lack of clear communication, being locked out with no number to call are not offset by the beautiful view of the Seine.
I hope this was an isolated instance.
