The hotel is brilliantly located for the Super Chatel lift and centre of the village. Decent rooms and a very good breakfast. It's the second time I've stayed and I'd definitely go back again. The owner is very accommodating and went above and beyond to return a pair of poles that I managed to leave behind.

I have visited this hotel on a number of occasions! With both family and as a couple. Each skiing holiday spent here has been brilliant! Although maybe not 5* it has everything you could possibly need, the rooms are what you would expect on a skiing holiday. Cosy & inviting. The staff are both welcoming & friendly, they cannot do... The location is just excellent, friendly etc. etc. as other reviewers have noted. Not much to add - except that we stayed in room 8, and the noise from the bar next door stopped late afternoon / early evening and was in no way problematic. Can strongly recommend this fine little hotel.

2 years after the last visit back at this great little place so conveniently located in Chatel. Francine the owner is as hospitable as ever and you cannot fault the value of this place. The only thing is that it may be time to update the speed of the internet line, getting too slow for the tablets.

Just back from the Armaillis; comfortable, excellent location near bus, lift and ski shop. Madame was very helpful when we had to make changes to our booking and asked for a room to change in after our last days skiing. All in all a real find.

This hotel is run by the wonderful Francine and it is an excellent place to stay to ski the Portes de Soleil area. It is a couple of minutes walk from the Telecabine or a minute from the bus stop. The hotel is spotless and all the rooms are ensuite and there is always plenty of hot water. Very hard... More

What a great little gem in Chatel. Nothing fancy but all the basics are really excellent. The room is fresh, has all the amenities you need and cleaniliness is superb. The breakfast is an expanded continental buffet with daily changing local cheese and cold cuts, freshly baked bread and pastries, muessli, fruits and boiled eggs. Parking is not that evidient... Great B&B right in the centre of Chatel, near the church. Good quality basic en suite rooms, decent breakfast and a good price. Only 5 mins walk to the Super Chatel gondola and only a moments to the bus terminal to take you to Pre la Joux and the Porte du Soleil runs. There's a small bar in hotel -... More
