Whow effect on arrival. Incredible view on Caldera. The suit is amazing. Very large, beautifully decorated, well equipped and with external hot tub which allows you to admire sunset with glace of wine (offered). Located centrally at walking distance to Fira. We absolutely loved all of it.

We had to book an emergency extra night in Santorini after a ferry cancellation, and we couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at Aura Suites. Check in was smooth, our room was stunning, with a spectacular view on the caldera and your own jacuzzi. As other reviewers pointed out the hot tub isn't too private as other guests have to walk along the terrace to enter their rooms, but this wasn't an issue for us at all - you can see countless jacuzzi walking down the streets of Firostefani, anyone looking for absolutely privacy in any of the caldera villages is a bit deluded in my opinion. The room was immaculate and we weren't disturbed by anyone cleaning the hot tub at all.

The only thing to bear in mind is that the studios have a mini fridge and complimentary coffee, but no breakfast or cooking facilities. You can buy food from a cafe they partner with and have it delivered straight to your door (we did that for breakfast), or you can go to one of the many restaurants and cafes around.

Firostefani is the best location on Santorini too - only 15-minute walk from Fira or Imerovigli, but much quieter and just as beautiful as the more crowded villages.

Perfect spot to stay in Santorini, so peaceful and quiet but situated right between Fira and Imerovigili (both 15 mins on foot and views of the caldera the whole walk to Fira) Rooms very clean and stunning interior and staff lovely. The hotel feels nice and exclusive with only around 10 rooms, the cafe next door is great for breakfast and again offers an amazing view!
We did the hike from here (Firostefani to Oia) which is worth it, Imerovigili is just as stunning to walk through on the way - took us around 3 hours with a quick stop for lunch
We stayed in the Junior suite (only down side would be the sunbed is not quite big enough for 2 and there are no spare loungers so you have to sit in a chair as next best option to sunbathe)
Really recommend this hotel for location and view!
Thank you:)

We spent 6 nights in the Aura Suites2.We were very surprised that we had to reach the room through an empty, construction areaWhen we entered the room, we were hit by a very strong musty smell. It was very disturbing, but we thought that a large ventilation was necessary. In any case, it was worrying, which was not unfounded, because we quickly got sick.We both started coughing. We bought aromatic candle to kill the smell and left the door and the window most of the times open.We reported the problem to the lady handling the check in, who only replied that we should write an email about it.We sent the email, after a few hours the general manager replied that this is a characteristic of the buildings in Santorini. He said: Please do not confuse humidity and dampness with mold because they are
completely different situations. In our reply letter, we asked him to see the room with his own eyes, and we also sent him some pictures. We also told the cleaning lady that there was a lot of mold. The cleaning lady tried to clean the mold, but she was not very successful.
Then the check-in lady also appeared and she also tried to wipe off the mold with a cleaning sponge.
Then the general manager also appeared, looked at the problem, saw that we were sick, said he was sorry, asked what kind of compensation we wanted, and then promised to talk to the finance department about a refund.
Then we didn't hear from him again, we sent him an email, but he didn't reply.

Worst checkin.
I had already paid for the reservation four months ago, 997 euros for three days.
When I arrived, they said I needed the physical credit card that I had paid for the reservation. It was so long ago that I didn't even have the card anymore.
They said I had to pay with another card and wait for refund on the old card, which I don't have anymore.
Plus, four months ago the euro was cheaper in relation to my current (BRL), so I have to pay again the exchange at a higher rate, lost almost 50 euros because I still don't know why, the reservation was already paid for!!

We had an amazing stay at Aura suites. Boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. There is a reception with someone on site to help you from early morning to late at night. Room was gorgeous, especially bathroom with huge double shower in a dome room. Very clean. Wonderful jacuzzi overlooking the caldera. Little patio to sit in morning and enjoy the view with your coffee. Conveniently located with a short walk to both Fira and Imerovigil. Especially liked that even though you were very close to the path that takes you between Oia and Fira it’s very quiet. Keep in mind the jacuzzi is not heated but you wouldn’t want it to be in the heat. We stayed in May and it was perfect.

We have just taken a delayed speacila birthday trip to Aura Suites and we have had the most amazing time. We were so well looked after, the flowers and prosecco on arrival were perfect and the rest of our trip was fabulous. The suite is very clean, well appointed and the views are simply stunning. We enjoyed walks, good food in Fira and Oia and a trip organised by the company. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Lovely appartments overlooking the Caldera bay and sunset. Modern decor, comfortable bed, good air conditioning and a nice bathroom. Each appartment has its own small terrace with spa bath. Lots of nice restaurants within easy walk and around 10 minutes walk from Fira. Also on the Fira-Oia walkway if you wanted to do this, the bus returns to Fira. The staff were also friendly and accommodating.

My wife and I were hesitant at first about this hotel at first because we could not find in on Trip Advisor, but I have to say we made the right choice! The location is in Firostefani, which is a perfect location. The main city in Santorini is Fira, which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of amazing restaurants, shops, bars, and of course amazing views within eyesight of the room. The check in process was easy, they have someone meet you at the suite and check you in. When we got to the address we had trouble finding where to park so we called the number provided and they connecting us with the gentleman meeting us for check in. He got on his scooter to find us and we followed him to the parking lot. He took both our bags and we made it to the room. He then proceeded to provide us with a map of Santorini and spent 20 minutes with us telling us all about the island, the best restaurants, things to see, and gave us a cell phone that we could contact him for anything we need at anytime during our stay. It came in handy! He booked a sail boat tour for us, and helped with a few other things during our stay, he always answered our phone calls. It was excellent customer service, and not expected. All his restaurant and site recommendations were spot on.

The room itself is amazing, very clean, modern furniture, and the view is worth every penny! There was a fridge, safe, full size bathroom, hot tub on the balcony, king size bed, pull out couch, TV, Air conditioning. There is a café just up the stairs from the room, and full breakfast is included with the room. We got omelet's , coffee, juice, fruit, whatever we ordered it was covered and we never paid extra for breakfast, it would have cost us 50 Euros a morning to go out to breakfast, so that was amazing. They don't bring breakfast to your room as advertised on the website, but it is literally walking up 15 steps and you have a table overlooking the volcano and sea. The café is called Sunset Café. You have to walk down the stairs through the café to get to your room :) .

There is room service everyday full turn down, they gave us fresh towels, changed our sheets, ect.Just like a normal full service hotel.

The refrigerator was stocked with beer, wine, soda, water, and more. And it was no extra cost to have anything in the refrigerator! It was included, that was a nice surprise. We cleared the thing out !

Its not a hotel, there are only two suites, next to each other, but each one private. No lobby, ext, You just walk down some stairs from the Sunset Café, then onto the balcony, and then into your room. The balcony is semi-private. Patrons at the café can look down and see you in the hot tub, but they are far enough that's its not awkward. It does not have a pool, which would have been nice. But we really didn't miss a pool much.

You are on the main path from Fira to Oia, which is a must do while in Santorini, and we hiked from our hotel to Oia, about a 3 hour hike, and something you have to do if staying in Santorini. There is a bus stop right at the main square just after you exit your hotel onto the main road, it can take you anywhere on the island, we had a rental car, and parking was close, but if you want to take the bus its right there.

You save some money staying out of Fira, but this is more on the expensive side of the island, but it is worth the views, and being in the heart of everything, the breakfast, and everything outlined above, made it worth it for us.

Places we tried nearby: We ate at Mama Thira's, a traditional Greek restaurant with a view of the sunset. It was really good, and worth the meal. We ate at Vanilla, a very tasty and cozy restaurant with a view. And we tried Mylos Bar, which was our favorite, the food was good, but the experience was excellent. Amazing cocktails, views, atmosphere, and the chefs bring everything to your table and sometimes cook it there too! There is tasty Gelato just 2 minute walk from the room.

I liked best the view , location, free breakfast
I liked least not having a pool

Just finished our 4 night stay at Aura suites and we genuinely didn’t want to leave! Location in Firostefani is perfect... away from bustle of Fira and Oia but easy enough to get to. Firostefani itself has some great bars and restaurants and breathtaking views! On arrival we were greeted by Rigas who was very helpful and showed us down to our room, entrance through the Golden Sunset cafe - the owner of which was extremely chatty and charming every day we saw him. Rooms were big, clean, simple yet modern and maid service each day with fresh towels and bed linens. Room fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks on arrival. The big selling point however is the terrace, complete with jacuzzi and perfect sun set view. Don’t think, just book this place!
