Villa Ilias was great from the word go. As soon as we started chatting with them about availability and making a reservation they were extremely helpful and just lovely people to deal with. That sort of service carried on during our week stay at Villa Ilias which was last July. The room was cute and all we needed (we went... More

We stayed at the villa in September and had a great R&R 3 days. The owners George & Pauline&staff Tracy were very obliging to all queries and organizing extra requests. Firstly, the location is wonderful, pleasant walking distance to the main town of Fira and great eateries on the way, like Simos Tavern (recomm by George). We had balcony view... More

Our first impression - wow - what a view !! We spent hours on the balcony with a drink in hand watching the cruise ships below us. The room was comfortableand clean, if a little cramped. But who cares - look out the window ! George and Pauline were the perfect hosts and made us feel most welcome.

My family of 4 (kids 9&12) had a great time in Santorini and Villa Ilias. We spent 4 nights at the end of Oct and it was the perfect way to unwind prior to heading back home from our lengthy holidays. Pauline and George are the most accommodating, helpful and friendly hosts, as were their gorgeous cats (say hi to... More

We landed at Santorini airport on October 12 which was already a couple of weeks after the tourism season started to quieten down. With no accommodation booked, we were a little suspicious of that being offered by the girl at the accommodation desk at the airport, especially at 90 EUR per night. BUT, it couldn't have been better! It was... More

I have been coming to Santorini for a number of years and I view Villas Illias is an excellent choice for location and vistas, quality of accommodation and friendliness of staff. Views of the Caldera from hotel rooms and pool are spectacular, from the most desirable vantage point on the Island. Every effort is made to keep the rooms to... More

My wife and I spent four days at Villa Ilias at the end of September. This was a return trip and stay for us, as we had been there before in 2007. This time we were on our way back to the US after spending a week in Crete, and we just couldn't pass up making a stop in Santorini... More

Hotel was on the highest point on the Caldera at Firostefani. Superb view from our room and the terrace. So high up! We booked one of the exclusive rooms with a full sea view. the room was compact but had all we needed. Comfortable bed, TV, coffee maker, fridge, hob if you wanted to cook. Breakfast was a lovely buffet... More

This is the most difficult review I have posted on TripAdvisor. The hotel is awesome but the room we reserved was most definitely NOT. The hotel has the spectacular views you expect, a nice pool, good breakfast, convenient parking if you rent a scooter or quad, strong wifi that works, a decent kitchenette, and I can't say enough about the... Our team of swimmers made a swim around the island, 60km over 3 days, so we had some rather special needs which included breakfast each morning at 6am. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and agreed to our every request. At the conclusion of our stay they arranged a cocktail party for us - just wonderful. The hotel is... More
