You know when you are dating and you find “the one” and you stop dating and marry them? Well Homeric Poems is “the one” and there is need to continue your search for another hotel. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and has a great location to everything in Santorini. The hotel has the best staff who make you feel like their favorite family member. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and to accommodate our every request. From the welcome beverage and meal, to tracking down my lost luggage, to making recommendations, to scheduling messages, to breakfast on the patio, to the amazing drinks, the staff did it all! We hated to say goodbye to this hotel and to beautiful staff at Homeric Poems. To the Owner and General Manager of the hotel, please give your employees raises and bonuses because they are the heart of this hotel and make it truly special. I need to thank everyone for for making our 25th Anniversary the best, so thank you: Theoni, Elias, Stefanos and Spyros at reception for accommodating all of our requests with perfection. To Gabriel, Zani and Nikita’s for delivering a great breakfast and fantastic drinks. To Valentina, Angela, Jove and Mariza, thanks for making our room sparkle ever day. We can’t wait to come back to Santorini and stay at Homeric Poems and be welcomed by the staff.

This hotel is perfect. The staff is overly accommodating. The views are breathtaking. It’s situated on the pedestrian path near the capital city and away from many of the tourist locations of nearby Oia . This is the most peaceful, beautiful stay I’ve experienced in years of traveling abroad. We will definitely be back.

Loved this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel facing the caldera in Firastephani. The staff is amazing. They were very accommodating. Every request was answered with a yes! Since it faces the caldera, there are a lot of steps. Request a room at the top if walking up and down steps is a problem. The view from our balcony was the best. Every morning our breakfast was brought to us by their amazing servers. I felt like I was royalty. The rooms are all different and decorated in a chic style. I was so sorry to leave this fantastic hotel. Thank you for making our trip to Santorini one that we will not forget.

This was our second stay at this fabulous Hotel. It is in a perfect location in Firostefani with beautifully appointed rooms and wonderful staff. Our favourite room is named Helen. It has a balcony and is located just above the pool and next to the bar and restaurant. We dined in the restaurant twice during our 5 night stay and it was excellent. Innovative menu with beautiful presentation. The staff at all times were friendly and professional and willing to bend over backwards at any request. We especially got to know Gabriel of French and Greek descent. He has a great future in hospitality. The reception staff, porters, everyone were an absolute delight.

Just arrived yesterday after much anticipation only to find our Grand Suite DOES NOT have a King Size Bed!!! And the little bed that is here is soft. This is the most disappointing discovery. I am dumbfounded that a hotel of this stature would not have a King Size bed in its highest category room; this information is interestingly missing from their website. I had a reservation at Mystique which I cancelled because Homeric Poems looked nicer but didn’t realize I’d be sacrificing bed size. One of the 2 A/C units in the room does not work. Our “hot tub” is lukewarm. Not the 35 Celsius they advertise. The weather is cool which is lovely for sitting on the porch in a hot tub but instead we are cold when in it. Just came to the pool where at a 5 star hotel an attendant would usually come with several towels and make up your chair. No towels, no attendant. On a positive note, the view is gorgeous, staff amazing, and food phenomenal. However, I am here for my 29th anniversary, so as an older person, a squishy, small bed is a real disappointment. The Grand Suite Gaia which we are in is otherwise beautiful. Clean and spacious.

Homeric Poems is a wonderful hotel in a great location with an amazing view and fantastic staff. We loved being away from the huge crowds of Fira, but close enough if you want to take a 10 minute walk there. There were plenty of great restaurants and shops within a minutes walk from the hotel that we only went to Fira twice in our 5 nights stay. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was fabulous and the spending a few hours by the pool was so relaxing. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The view of the sunset from this hotel is incredible!

This is an incredible hotel. It is very rare to find a property that has the highest quality bedrooms, mind-blowing food in the restaurant and consistently friendly service from start to finish. We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way. We have travelled extensively over the years, and Homeric Poems is one of the best placed we've ever stayed in. As you enter the property, the feelings of calm and luxury are very special. Stefano and his team provide a level of service that far surpassed any other hotel. We felt special the entire time and have already recommended the hotel to others. The restaurant needs to be more actively shown on the website, as the food was amazing (clever, imaginative and beautifully produced). Thank you to everyone at Homeric Poems - your hotel is an absolute delight!

The title says it all, this hotel is just incredible in every facet. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and we’re blown away. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Rooms are clean, modern, quiet, and offer incredible views. The only caveat is one that frankly applies to the entire island: you will have difficulty if you have limited mobility. We had a room on the lowest level and for us, the hike up the stairs was well worth the unobstructed views but I know for many people the trek would be difficult. If you consider yourself to be in that category, I would recommend contacting the hotel to ask which room may be most appropriate for you to avoid possibly arriving to a fully booked hotel and finding yourself unable to get up and down the stairs. When it comes to the staff, there are no caveats required. Everyone we encountered was without exception friendly, professional, and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with all we encountered. Homeric Poems is simply a special place and should we return to Santorini I wouldn’t even bother researching other options. Our stay was perfect in every sense of the word and I can’t imagine a better place to have spent our 10th anniversary.

The small hotel is luxury at its finest. Be sure to check your room location. We had the honeymoon suite and while the view was spectacular it’s 116 steps down then back up to the main road. Room was gorgeous, staff incredible.Stephano the manager, the bar staff, our daily wait staff are nothing short of five star. The views, food, drinks are excellent. I can’t say enough kind words about the manager and his generous hospitality.

I had to create an account to specifically review this hotel. This was an experience I'm gonna remember forever. We were picked up at the airport by their driver, and when we arrived we were personally greeted by the manager who took us to our room and explained everything. We stayed in the Cosmos room, and it was like a dream: we had a bottle of Moet on arrival, a perfect view, comfortable bed, indoor spa, and plunge pool with a cave. Every single one of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, a 3-minute walk from the main square where you can get a taxi and near restaurants, but still away from the crowds. Apart from the perfect room and the best customer service I've ever seen, the hotel was very clean; the breakfast was tasty and made to order every day; we also had FREE transfers from and to the airport and the stuff in the minibar was also FREE (I know, right?). They also gifted me a cute keychain.
