One more example that proves the value of smaller boutique hotels than huge ones. Given the valued accomodation, the owners stick to guide you through your multiple valued needs when travelling to a new place. Guaranteed to make you feel like home in the beautifull island. On your way back You will need extra baggage filled with feelings plus experience...

like the year before we stayed at the klimt "room" which actually is more like a little apartment in its own right. it's beautifully and tastefully furnished and - even more importantly - equipped with everything you might need during your stay. places you can go to grab a bite (or a night cap) are just around the corner, and...

Located outside the Old Town in the quaint old narrow lanes that are old and full of atmosphere. I do not know why anyone would stay in one of those huge hotels on the waterfront!! Just LOVED this property, Christos is just fantastic -if every hotel operator ran as friendly property travel would always be a delight. We had first...

We stayed for ten nights in Casa Antica. Kristos wants his guests to feel that they are not so much in a hotel but this is their home in Rhodes. This was certainly our experience. The Casa Antica is set in a quiet pedestrian lane -quite picturesque- in a former French consulate. The rooms are themed around well known painters....

Even in August, when everything is packed and noisy, Casa Antica is a quiet, welcoming and homey. With seven beautiful apartments that are different and special, a beautiful flowery garden and a cat. Marouska! Oh, I really love this cat <3 WiFi is free and with a very strong signal, water pressure is great and everything is clean. There is...

The Casa Antica is an excellent option if you want to be close to the beach and explore the Old Town, without being trapped in one of the big hotels. This property is in a nice little and quiet street, just around the corner from all the buzz. We were welcomed by the host in the nicest way. He even...

Quiet and clean, comfortable and central, made and kept with love. In a couple of days, when coming from the nearby beach, you'll feel like coming home, not like being in a hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet. Very convenient for being close to the town centre, but still in a tranquil place. The staff are wonderful, we'll always remember...

We stayed at Casa Antica for three nights. The rooms are all themed on painters & we stayed in ‘Picasso’ which was very compact & bijou but well appointed & clean – the very comfortable double bed was actually at mezzanine level & accessed by steps - very quirky as the name of the room suggests, but this didn’t cause...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the Northern tip of the island of Rhodes, an old house lies peacefully through the centuries. Built in 1730, Casa Antica is a landmark building in the center of Rhodes city, placed in a quiet and picturesque pedestrian street in the traditional neighborhood of Niohori. Back in 1800s, it originally housed the French consulate of the island. Used as a guest house since 1998, it was fully renovated in 2009 with absolute respect to tradition, history and under the strict supervision of the local Archaeological authorities. With seven independent apartments only, all different among them, our hotel guests are welcomed as friends and are treated with care and flair. All apartments are equipped with COCO-MAT ecological furniture, mattresses and linen, supreme quality amenities and other modern comforts that enable you to enjoy all the comforts of a modern holiday accommodation combined with simplicity and tranquility. But above all, Casa Antica is a home. Your home in Rhodes. This is where your apartment is, your courtyard, your terrace, and Marouska... your cat. A home with its history, our history, your history...hidden from the crowds in its quiet, peaceful alley where you can feel relaxed and blissful. So old and quiet and yet so close where everything happens. Elli beach, the Aquarium, Mandraki harbor, the Medieval Town of Rhodes and many more, all in walking distance for you to explore. ... more   less
