Olde worlde charm with all modern conveniences. We were met by the owner Christos who welcomed us as if we were family coming to visit . Bars, restaurants, shops and sightseeing all just a few minutes walk away but still in a quiet residential area.
Breakfast was optional but the traditional yoghurt, honey, breads and jam etc are cost effective and a relaxing start to the day.

We stayed at the Saint Michel before and after a week in the area. The hotel is simple and quiet, and Christos and the team were so friendly and helpful collected. It is just inside the walls and 2 mins from the centre ( Alexander the Great Square)

Christos charge to collect us at the airport and delivered us back there at the end of the stay was well worth taking up.

We recommend room 5 - it on the top floor (steep stairs, no lift) , but you have windows on 2 sides creating a breeze and a roof terrace with seating and sun loungers with a sea view. The terrace is public, but not advertised , so we always had it to ourselves

This atypical hotel in a very old building just a few minutes away from the busy tourist squares of Old Rhodes is ideal for travellers looking for a quiet relaxing sejourn. My room was decorated with traditional furnishings, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom quite functional. The hotel seems to be run by three young men who have a most pleasant temperment in all regards. The restaurant has a small menu of freshly prepared foods cooked to a high standard. My only small moan is that you are treated to American Blues music, apparently more popular with guests than Greek music! If arriving by plane I would advise being picked up at the airport.

Just back from a wonderful 5 day stay at this hotel with my sister. It is ideally located in Rhodes old town for exploring. The shops are about 5/10 mins walk away and it is also handy for the ports for onward ferries or the day trips. The hotel rooms are very clean & comfortable but it is important to note there are some stairs. The hotel staff serve a lovely breakfast of tea/coffee, toastie, Greek yoghurt with honey & nuts, bread, fruit, jams & orange juice. They also provide meals later on which was ideal after a day trip and we didn’t fancy walking anymore! The food was delicious along with wine or cocktails too. The hotel staff were great at communicating when I was planning this trip & were able to offer pick up & return to the airport at a reasonable price. The rooms are cleaned daily & fresh towels supplied. We can’t thank Vangelis, Sergio & others enough for making this a memorable holiday. Don’t hesitate to book this place as we would highly recommend it.

We had the best meal of our holiday in this restaurant! All freshly prepared using ingredients in season and available locally. We didn’t stay here but the in another apartment managed by Chris a few minutes away. Both Chris and Sergio were very pleasant and helpful arranging transfers and providing other local information.
This gem of a restaurant is really worth eating at if you appreciate something a bit different from the average greek menu.

The location is ideal. Just inside the old city, a very short walk to the centre of everything but still quiet. We stayed for two nights, with a 4 night gap in between when we went to Symi. (They looked after our luggage during those 4 days. Thanks.)

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We chose the cheap downstairs room around the back. It’s dark and the bathroom is small. I wouldn’t want to stay there for a week but for a night or two it’s excellent and so VERY quiet. Aircon worked well, wifi good, comfortable bed and a spacious sitting area.

We didn’t go upstairs but those rooms involve stairs but certainly get more natural light.

Breakfast is fresh, simple and delicious.

I can also highly recommend their evening meal. The chef is very talented. He asks what you like and what food allergies you have then he puts something together. It was absolutely delicious on both occasions. We didn’t see a menu or price list but it was very reasonably priced.

Definitely a quaint, one of a kind stay. I’d do it again. Thanks guys.

Superbly located in the old town but in a quiet place. The rooms are nice. The service is exceptional: you are welcome by three friends who will do all they can to make your stay pleasurable and help you. They can organise your transfers to or from the airport and avoid bad taxi experiences (we were scammed getting in by a licensed taxi).

This little gem is my home from home and over the years the house I have seen the house beautifully restored and Chris the manager and his team now offer a bar and restaurant service which attracts passersby as well as residents. The bedrooms are all different as they have been created within the ancient building. Chris will always do his best to accommodate you if you have any mobility issues. Just mention it on booking. The hotel has so much atmosphere and is within the beautiful old city walls.

Fabulous guest house in a quiet part of the old town away from the hustle and bustle of day trippers. So pleased we decided to stay the night in Rhodes as it is really amazing to visit, especially in the evening and the morning without the crowds. We decided to eat in the restaurant and the owner/chef chose our dishes for us. The food was excellent, every dish was fresh, delicious and cooked perfectly. It was the best food we had during our week in Rhodes. Everyone was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, such as arranging taxis/transfers etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We gave this hotel less than 40 minutes notice prior to arriving. Ah the the beauty of the cyber highway as part of our personal adventure. This 800 year old property is a site to behold. A rustic Rhodes Greek gem with a modern twist. A modern business venture that as a tourist we would support. An amazing experience, not just accommodation, but culinary. We ate dinner here, prepared in front of us. The smell of food was matched by what was produced. The personal service was both attentive & professional. This was part of a whistle stop adventure & these people did not disappoint. Keep up the good work & we wish you & both your families success. As you deserve it, the service & friendliness you demonstrated cannot be bought. Hopefully these words will encourage others to experience what we did. A**

Some part of old town streets are alloewed to enter by car. In day time some part of areas are permitted. Saint michel hotels area is allowed to take the car with you.
