My mate found this Pension in the Lonely Planet guidebook as a "little known" but great spot, so we booked for August 2017. It was gorgeous and charming, a way of inviting visitors to participate in the ancient history of Old Town. This converted home was once used by Ottaman roy

We thank these guests for their very kind review - and especially for pointing out that we're easiest to find if you take our car service, rather than drag your bags down the cobblestone streets! We charge the taxi price (25 euros from the airport), but bring you all the way in to the hotel, which the taxis can't do. Just one small comment, if we may - we're not exactly on top of a mountain, but on a hill at the southernmost end of the Old Town, just within the walls. A little altitude is what gives us the cool breeze, and the view, and the distance from the downtown discos. Again, many thanks to these guests for their review, and we hope to see them again.
