The location is between Cetara and Vietri, above a Limoneto, the road to get there is narrow and uphill, but this is normal on the Amalfi coast. When you arrive, however, you have a beautiful view of the coast, the rooms are all new, well looked after and clean, they all have a terrace with chairs and a table. There is also an above ground swimming pool which is very pleasant when the weather is very hot. The only thing is that the various gardens are left a little unkempt.

Wonderful experience. Owners friendly and helpful. I have a labrador who had a great time. Great dinner, with good fresh fish. Just the little road to climb a little rough.... only small drawback of the place.
Highly recommended.

OK, so let’s start off with “the access” which seems to be so contentious….so first, some context, we had a rental car with 180,000 kms on the clock, a small Renault Clio and had ABSOLUTELY no issues or problems accessing this property…. Google maps worked a treat getting us there… you turn off the main Amalfi “corniche” road onto the only secondary alternate road along the coast :the locals just call it the “high’ road .. it’s used as the main road during maintenance or landslips…. It is used by local traffic so perfectly passable ..it’s one lane in short sections so you may have to back up if unlucky… downhill or bigger vehicles have priority … it’s about 2-3 kms to the property entrance..easy ….. there are some broken surfaces and small potholes but this is Italy, it’s everywhere..
So at the property you park about 50m inside the gate on a levelled landing … yes, it is NOT a paved covered garage, it is a gravel landing but flat! This is the Amalfi Coast.. it is uniformly steep and precipitous.. the virtue are the views BUT you do have to, no matter where you stay, either do some uphill walking or stairs.. that’s Amalfi!
So from the car parking it’s about 30m up a paved driveway (the farmhand will drive the van down to get your luggage if you need!) to the accommodation … we did not think any of this access daunting or dangerous… we understood this was a small agriturismo NOT a 4 star resort..
The reviews photos don’t lie and the actual rooms are fantastic.. new, large, open plan with modern immaculate bathroom, excellent airconditioning and decorated in period furnishings… absolute treat to stay in..and the private balconies with views to die for.
The above ground pool, while not resort style, was absolute delight in the hot temps we encountered, with views from the pool to astound… horizon pools don’t even match
The owners speak good English, and while not present until the morning or late afternoon (working elsewhere), are easily contactable by mobile. The Sri Lankan farmhand who works the lemon plantation, doubles as the site manager…. He speaks little English (but fluent Italian) so a translator app is handy.. he is very friendly.. he is easy to locate by going to his cabin to the side of the accommodation and just calling out, even if he is in the orchard… or get his mobile phone number and call him … not sure why some reviewers had so much issue..
The breakfast is adequate, buffet style.. without being sensational.. the croissants were good
The only small negative is the free WiFi did get spotty in the afternoons, as others have noted.
The views from the accommodation individual balconies is superlative, as are the views from every point on the property.
Overall the access is really a non-issue given this is Amalfi Coast (roads are narrow and steep everywhere, but not difficult), and the amenity of the new rooms, pool and spectacular views more than compensate. Very highly recommended (unless you have severe mobility limitations)

Reception made by Indian staff who work hard but are clumsy. The view is very nice and is the only positive thing about the place.
For what you pay there is much better on the b&b category on the coast.
The rooms are very spartan, the parking is very uncomfortable and the Owner / Manager is little available, however not in line with what a host should do

We booked this place for 2 nights as part of a week travelling around amalfi , Napoli and Capri . It was very difficult to find but eventually we did after nobody answered the phone number on the booking voucher after several attempts . We where in a rental car and as we turned off the main road not close to any beaches or amenities it became apparent our hire car that was only a few years old was not going to make it as the road to the place was so steep . I walked up the hill in 40 degree heat to find a man sat on a step who I thought was a worker full of dirt and sweat who spoke hardly any English , he had a hand written list of names and I pointed out which was mine , my husband had followed me up on foot then had to walk back down the very steep hill to bring the car with our luggage up , unfortunately the car hardly made , smelled of burning and a damaged clutch . We realised that we could not stay here and keep trying to get the car up this incredibly steep hill everytime we needed to go anywhere . On top of that the room we had been given was like a garage and there was nothing else nearby . Neither the man or his wife could speak English , I asked to speak to the owner who could hardly speak English on the phone either , there child was trying to communicate using google translate . I explained we could not stay with the car situation and as we had not yet paid asked if we could cancel without being charged as there was no explanation of the steep location or isolated position anywhere on booking. Com or there website and the room discription was a large room in an house not a small garage building . The man said I had to pay and the owner on the phone who could suddenly speak English became quite aggressive and told me I had to pay and wait 50 minutes for him to arrive . My husband reluctantly paid for the room as we felt very threatened but we will be taking this further . It should be clearly stated on the website and booking websites that this place , as it is not a B&B is in the middle of nowhere up an impossibly steep track that will ruin your car . We travel extensively and even in tiny villages in south east Asia have we come across such poor accommodation or aggressive owners , so book at your own peril . It is also ridiculous that there was no point of contact who could speak English

A dishonest place! We picked this place because it marketed its place as a countryside place just a stone throw away from Cetara. Our travel group was made up of 2 couples. We were already horrified on the first day that there was no proper road or parking — the “road” within the compound is very dangerously steep, with parking spaces being leftover open spaces. The flatter areas were not cleaned and full of gravel, which was also a tripping hazard. Many manoeuvres were needed to get our car out each time of the compound. Not to mention that the road outside was partially broken and had been left without repair for six months. The host told us it’s easy to walk to Cetara, but in fact you would have to walk along speeding cars around bending roads with no proper side walks. But worse, on our second day, we came home at 11.30pm to no parking space at all with cars and scooters parallel parked. There was a very loud party with dance music for an 18th birthday party even though their website on Booking.com states that “no parties/events are allowed” and that “quiet hours” are 11pm-8am. We were not given any warning of this event even though we saw the host several times in the morning. He did not apologise and said only that the event had been planned some time ago. At 12am there was a very loud birthday singing and shouting. Afterward, our room was actually blocked by cars that were trying to manoeuvre their way out of their tight parking spots (although most guests did not leave after midnight). Hence, we were not able to rest due to the noise, crowd, and worry that our rental car would get scratched. On the third day, using the break for the extremely sloping road at this place broke our car’s back tyre. He compensated us grudgingly claiming that we didn’t know how to drive. Lastly, for basic amenities, WiFi did not work in the afternoons and some evenings. There was no shower shampoo or soap provided (only an empty bottle was provided). Breakfast was not good and the worst we’d had in Italy. When asked for extra pillows, he shoved pillows still in their plastic packaging at our entrance, and we had to put them in the covers ourselves. Speaking to some of the locals, we found out that he is indeed an unlikable character in the area. The host is very irresponsible and does not care of his customers, please do not stay at this place!

Two of our holiday group of four arrived in late evening and endured a fairly long (1.5 hours), worryig transfer from Naples Airport to this property in Cetara. It is unaccessible for the most part by car and is very dark, very quiet and felt deserted when we arrived. A man met the transfer at the last vehicle point (no English spoken) from where we started the hike up to the building. I am 68 but in good health and fairly fit and my daughter is a strapping and healthy 36 year old. On a badly lit mountain side the climb early killed me, having to stop several times to get my breath. The rooms were clean but basic (the photos make the rooms look better than they actually are). There was a fridge in the room but no bottles of water and nowhere to get them from once our "host" had gone, leaving us wondering what the hell we had come to. We slept badly (and fearfully), we were cold (with no extra blankets available). In the morning we could see that the views were breathtaking, looking out over the sea and at breakfast (which was OK) we realised there were a other visitors staying there. Our other two travellers included my husband (who had been taken ill on the flight and taken by ambulance to Naples A&E with son in law) and we made a decision to find somewhere more appropriate back in Amalfi for us all. There was no problem in leaving and to their credir they only charged us for the night we had stayed. Would not recommend this to anyone who would find climbing considerable heights a challenge and the place is quite basic, describing itself as a farm.

This B&B has the most stunning and fantastic view on the Amalfi Bay and this from every terrace or corner at the property. Nicola and his team do everything possible to accommodate their guests in a very friendly way. Breakfast with the typical Italian sweets and fresh bread every day, cheeses and fruits, delicious cappucino, fresh fruits.... The rooms and bathrooms are very are spacious and accomodated with everything one needs. Asking for extra towels is no problem. We recommend Sopra Il Limoneto, it is wonderful to stay, explore the Amalf area and then come back to the house and enjoy the view from your terrace or from the garden and swimming pool. And maybe you are lucky and Nicola will spoil you with a typical Italian dinner, since he cooks on demand every now and then!

Outside of the idyllic town of cetara there is an old lemon farm overlooking the golf of Salerno. This lemonfarm is beautifully renovated - actually quite stylish - very well cared of and just the perferct place to stay! We really loved every single thing aout it:
Location: Cetara is one of the lesser known amalfi villages which makes it so loveable. amalfi and altrani is about 20´cardrive away. the charming Vietri sul mare about 10`
the farm itself: is located up the hill inbewteen lemons, lemons and nothing but lemons AND a idyllic large garden which belongs to the estate. So many beautiful plants and trees - everything very well trimmed but still romantic and cared of. ALL rooms have been renovated recently ind a very good taste and style. italian antiques mixed with international it pieces. We booked the room with the red floor and the golden bed - Loved it as we had a private terrace aswell.
SERVICE: the owner was very friendly and helpful. always around when we needed him. Also francesco who prepared the breakfast was a great help. the breakfast itself was more than we ever expected from an itlaian breakfast - fresh cheese, bresaola, prosiutto, every day fresh sweets and bakery, fresh orange juice and eggs! TOP!
For those who found the road up to the "farm" dangerous and horrendously steep:
I wouldnt ever ever confirm that! It`s a narrow but still good road - not flat but far away from horrendously steep!! So if you have basic driving skills you will be perfectly fine with that. Also the little path from the parking space to the hotel (4´walk at least) is managable!!! we were pretty scared because of these reviews but they are just without any point!
So my advice: go and visit sopra il limoneto!!! Beautiful place, nice atmosphere - perfect loction!!! We are going to come back! Ci vediamo!

I stayed for one night at this property above the coast... very relaxing place in the countryside, with swimming pool, pets that can turn in the garden, I also had dinner very well and breakfast was plentiful. The room was very large and clean. Very friendly owners. Recommendation
