To start, the property is beautiful and the scenery and landscapes are of the most beautiful i have ever seen in my entire life (and i have travelled quite a bit). When you drive around the property or even sit by the pool, you will have to pinch yourself. It is surreal. Matteo (the host) made me feel completely at...

This is the definition of amazing! To stay in a converted monastery with modern conveniences and luxuries is truly a great find. We only stayed here for 2 nights and quickly realized we should have devoted more time. There are numerous apartments to choose from, all afford great views and excellent service. We were in the Amiata apartment; large for...

We wanted to drive around Toscana for this vacation so looked for 2 different bases while we explore the area. We picked Quercecchio for the first half of the trip because of the wonderful reviews plus Matteo, our host, was always available on the phone and email to answer our questions. When we arrived Tavernelle, he offered to come meet...

We have just spent 5 nights in the beautiful Abate apartment at Antica Gracia di Querecchio. Matteo, the property manager, was an outstandingly good communicator from our first email contact through to meeting us on arrival and directing us to places of interest and local restaurants. We both enjoyed his interesting tour of the onsite wine-making operation. From the stunning...

Our trip to Antica Grancia di Quercecchio was too short! We would like to spend a week in this wonderful relaxing environment. Our goal was to find a place in the Tuscan countryside to ride our mountain bikes and we were not disappointed. The rolling hills, ripe vineyards, pheasants in the fields, and the wild boars surpassed our expectations. Of...

Southern Tuscany is a wonderful place to spend your holidays. Towns like Siena, Volterra, Montepulciano and Montalcino are our favourites. We'be been looking for a nice appartment for a long time and found Agroturismo Quercecchio about 5 years ago. Since then, we're coming every year. Matteo is a fabulous host, very nice, helpful and the Agroturismo is a fantastic former...

We needed a base of operations from which to enjoy Tuscany and found Antica Grancia di Quercecchio on Trip Advisor. We stayed there for a week and enjoyed it immensely. The setting is idyllic--an old convent beautifully restored, set in a valley outside Montalcino. The agritourismo is a working vineyard, producing the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine. Matteo is so...

I can't think of a better base of operations to see southern Tuscany. Quercecchio is set in an incredibly scenic area outside Montalcino. The accommodations are very comfortable, with good air conditioning and an elevator, in addition to spacious apartments. The setting is very quiet and relaxing. The pool is nice and large with plenty of lounge chairs. Matteo is,...
