This B&B is a perfect economical way to combine a taste of Tuscan hill country and the glories of Florence, since it has both. No more than a few minutes south of the Arno River, it has extraordinary views all around of ancient cultivated hills and distant mountains from the generous patio, where several of your host’s delicate aluminum-and-wire sculptures...

Wonderful week in Tuscany! Coming home to Casa Bartolini, perched up above the Certosa, was the perfect end to the day. Lovely home, delicious breakfasts, kind, discreet and friendly hospitality: highly recommended! The food is yum as the chef is into the slow food movement - so very tastey! We hope to return soon.

We had the most romantic stay at Casa Bartolini with my newly wedded husband. The location was perfect to enjoy at the same time of the close location of Florence and relaxing privacy. B&B This house was a lot more! Our spacious room opened to a private balcony where we had a beautiful view over the Florentine valley. Breakfast had...

My girlfriend and I had high expectations when we stayed at Casa Bartolini--it came highly recommended from a relative--and yet Dario Bartolini's casa surpassed our hopes. Breakfast alone makes this place worth visiting. Homemade pastries, bread, jam, and fresh fruit served with ridiculously tasty espresso, all overlooking spectacular Tuscan landscape. It's no wonder the owner is an artist--everything here inspires....

The house sits at the top of hill, looking out over a wide valley with villas, a castle, monastery, and farmlands; beautiful vieuws of Tuscany. The room was airy, colorful and bright with lovely linens as...

I have had the good fortune to stay at Casa Bartolini on several occasions. It is always a joy to be there, enjoy the warm hospitality of the owner, artist Dario Bartolini, and his excellent homemade cakes, breads and jams, accompanied by China teas or the local espresso. The views are extraordinary, the rooms lovely and uncluttered. I hope to...
