I hate giving bad reviews but sometimes there's no option. Cons: This place is old, dated, scruffy, tired, sad etc etc. A kind of Fawlty Towers without the comedy. As others have said, our group arrived to be greeted by a friendly enough guy who told us he was too busy to show us the rooms. We went to the...

I called here with the family today for lunch. The service was good, the food was good and the price was good. I wouldn't hesitate to call again. They have a very good a la carte menu and also daily specials on the blackboard.

We stayed in the commercial hotel for my sisters hen night and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and there was a lovely welcoming, laid back feel! From the the complimentary champagne reception and the use of the function room, the owners were extremely accommodating and helpful in organising the event. The rooms were...

One of our good food places on our tour. We have been here many times over the last 25 years, and have always enjoyed the welcome and the food. This may not be a Michelin Star eatery but for good wholesome food it simply cannot be beaten at a relatively low cost. We usually go for the roast of the...

This stay was for an overnighter. The rooms, very basic but absolutely spotless and warm. Bathroom basic, but everything that was needed. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was served fairly quickly and a lovely, well cooked, full irish breakfast, with lots on the plate. I would stay there again.

Stayed here during the recent fringe festival. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. The front bar is full of local people who are very chatty. Rooms are basic but clean. Good location in the centre of the town with car parking at the rear. Would recommend for a short stay.
