Whoever manages this hotel should be fired. Rooms tired and shabby. Bad food. Lobby furniture worn out, carpets soiled and ripping. The smell of the toilets for the public area is without a doubt the worst I have ever smelled in any country in the world. No relaxing by the fireplace in the lobby as the constant beeping of the...

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and relaxed which reflected on the guests from the receptionists to the waiting/bar staff. The food was fantastic. The people of Dungarvan were very welcoming as we found out when we entered the bars.

This is an old hotel suitable for a night in the town but in need of refurbish, suitable for singles but I would not recommend it for a couple away on a romantic weekend food is poor to average as I struggled on breakfast which should be a no brainier Evening meal was good and service pleasant

I have visited the hotel on two occasions, both for casual dining in the bar. The food is good and the staff friendly. I can't comment on the rooms because I've never stayed over night but the bar is clean and although the welcome can be a little rough around the edges, the good will is there. Will definitely come...

Having just completed an 11 day road trip round Ireland for the 7th consecutive year I have to say I have been more disappointed with this hotel than any other hotel or B & B during this time. The two rooms I had booked for myself and my parents were extremely old and very tired. The shower doors in the...

Dear Dawn H, Further to your review I am very disappointed to read your remarks and I profusely apologise for you dissatisfaction. Major renovations have taken place in the bedroom section of the hotel this year with only one remaining corridor and the stair-wells to be completed for Easter. I would be pleased if you would contact me at the...

A very tired hotel. We stayed in room 202 and the wallpaper was coming off and the paintwork quite poor. There is no bin under the kettle and tea making facilities so had to put the rubbish on the table. Very small bin in bathroom but not big enough for both rooms. The bathroom was good and looked like it...

Dear Jacqueline B, Thank you for taking the time to send us your review. We are currently renovating the hotel and phase two commences this week. It is misfortunate that you did not make us aware of your issues with your room as we would have given you a second bin and towel holder. It is disappointing to hear of...

I stayed here for a stag wknd. €90 per person for two nights including breakfast. You can't argue with that. Some may describe this hotel as "basic", but it's clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is tasty. The manager was more than willing to serve us a few after-hours drinks, which was much appreciated. I would stay here...

A very enjoyable 1 -night stay. Our hen party of 12 were well looked after on the Saturday night that we stayed here. Our package was great value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The customer service, food and central location of this hotel was excellent. Definitely recommended for a group and there seemed to be...
