Very much enjoyed our stay in Cairbre house. Location is absolutely perfect with the most beautiful gardens. Brian, our host, is just a minefield of information - which led us to a very enjoyable evening in Minnies bar only a few minutes walk away. Decor in this house is what you would expect from such a historical building but it...

We really enjoyed our stay at Cairbre House. Our room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. It is an easy walk into town, which has a variety of pubs and eateries! Brian was a wealth of information and an excellent host , how pleased we were that he told us about the live music at "Minnie's"! Breakfast was...

I struck gold when I found Cairbre House. It looked lovely on line but when I arrived, it was perfect in every way. The view from my room was lovely. I sat in my bay window and watched the tide come in. My room was extremely clean and comfortable, the robe was cozy and I even had an electric blanket...

We stayed in Cairbre House a few years ago. We went back last week and it is still as lovely. Brian is a great host and the gardens were as lovely in Spring as they had been in late summer. The setting is very peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the town.

Really really lovely bed and breakfast on the banks of the river. Dont dream of staying in a hotel stay in this small country house run by a very friendly couple. Rooms are period and atmospheric and some have lovely river views. Will be back again. Only tiny grip was the towels. Beds were big and warm and the owners...

Don't miss out on coming to this beautiful historic home. Evening you need is here and it's a very easy walk to town. Would highly recommend eating at the moorings in town. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING but best of all was the beautiful Irish hospitality. What a gem of a place. Sad we only got one night.

I booked this b and b on the phone having at the time no access to the internet and chose it at random from a brochure about Dungarvan - WHAT a gem! Good welcome by the owner (sorry, name forgotten), pleasant room and the whole in a lovely setting of river, gardens etc. etc. Near to everything, but quiet. Helpful...

This wonderful old house sits proudly on the bank of a river. Our host Brian was fantastic. He gave us advice on the town, the area and the local restaurants and pubs. Our bedroom was very well appointed and comfortable and the breakfast of scrambled egg and smoked salmon was by far the best in the 2 weeks we had...
